I've checked and rechecked the connections. All lis fine. The printer is now my default one. I ran the CD. Don't know what avenue to take now.

HP troubleshooting is NOT effective for this problem, sorry to tell you. I used every troubleshooting measure offered to me. If it's bent pins on print head, none of that matters. It's broken.
