I've just installed a new set of ink cartridges (902 CMY and 902 XL Black), reset the printer to its factory settings, but it never prints color even in the diagnostic page. The "Print in Grayscale" is even turned off in the Preferences. Please help, thanks!

Sometimes you have to run it 3 to 4 times.

The printer carrriage is locked and won't move.
After loading a new black ink cartlidge my HP 6970 Inject carriage froze. I have loaded cartlidges many times without a problem. The carriage is frozen way to the right of the printer and I cannot get to the cartlidges to remove and reinsert them. It is NOT a paper jam, I checked for that. And I see no evidence of any thing else that would block the carriage. Any suggestions?

Printer error message
I am trying to set up my printer and computer here in Fla for the winter and no matter what I do I keep getting the message "Printer is in Error State" I have uninstalled the program and drivers and re-installed, still same message. It will print a test page from computer but nothing else.

I did a factory reset, and that seems to have eliminated the three pages by nature of disabling web services. I still get output if I open a web browser and type in the IP address of the printer with port 9100 (http://x.x.x.x:9100). The web page never loads in the browser. Only after I close that tab or the browser altogether, I get a text page output with a bunch of information about the web query. Is there some sort of diagnostic mode turned on by accident?

I’m trying the suggestion noted on this reply, but I can’t remove the cartridge because it’s locked in its resting place to the right.
After I unplug the printer, and plug the power back in. The screen lights up and then it the stays frozen and is completely unresponsive.
please advise?

Port 9100 is the TCP/IP printer port.
Your PC uses that when it sends printer data to that port.

Thanks for the extra info. I couldn't remember if that was the web control port or the data port. Your info confirms it's the data port. I see now the web interface is port 631.

printer connectivity
my printer will only work via the airdrop from my iPhone. I have 2 other laptops, one is hardwired to printer and the other is wireless. both have wireless function. neither will find the printer. all are on the same network. thoughts?

Easy Start doesn't install
I'm trying to install HP Easy Start 2.9.0.189 on an iMac running Catalina 10.15.1. Once I enter my id, the install stops and nothing happens. Any fixes?

When I try to print I get blank pages, and when I try to align the print head I get an error message, Failure, Alignment Failed. What can I do to fix this?

Officejet 4630 Ink Issue
I purchase new HP black 31 Ink and am told that the ink is empty. Have tried troubleshooting all kinds of ways. Replaced with another new cartridge,cleaned contacts and ran the quality check which shows that color ink is great and that there is no black ink, rebooted. What else can I try?

Please install printer software and drivers from the CD to your computers. You can also download software and drivers from HP but you need to know what is your printer.

Re: Print on Both Sides results in Loss of Scale / Increased Margins
I have the new 9015. The previous model, 8600, did not have this issue. In addition, I joined the ink program and I've just spent lots of money on wasted pages only to find out I can't print narrow margins on the top and bottom of the page. So far, the newer printer has taken away features and cost me money.
