i found several hp patents dealing with glyph encoding and dot encoding. seems to be added in the rasterizing process from true type to bitmap in printer

this is located in service menu

Ok..I put a black ink cartridge in where the colored ink cartridge should go...I also have a new black ink cartridge in where it's supposed to go..I cannot get the black cartridge out and the printer just shows and error message of E and a yellow flashing light..

This is expected, it should not be used by a user and have no purpose for a such.

Be aware that messing around different such internal settings may easily damage the printer.

All inks, including either the Black or any Tri-Color, are Pigment-based

I assume the printer was already used, am I right?

Is the printer connected with a UBS or wirelessly?

Does the error indicate the Black (Circle), the Tri-Color (3 dots) or both cartridges below?

I had been using the printer without problems.
Connected to computer by USB cable.
Error black cartridge only. I removed it to clean printhead.

No error messages, no recent changes. It worked fine this morning, now it's not.

My new black ink cartridge will not print black ink. I have done every test possible. Next is to swap the new cartridge for a replacement. Any other suggestions???????

Help! My HP Officejet Pro 8610 needs to access a new Wifi network, but my printer is displaying 'This feature has been locked by your administrator.....' when I press 'Wireless setup wizard' or when I try to restore the network defaults or reset the security.

Can anyone let me know how I can get around this?

Cannot find “print to grayscale” in advanced document options, so cannot switch it off.

I replaced the black HP 62 cartridge with an HP 62XL cartridge to my Envy 5540 printer but it is not recognized

My deskjet 4675 is connected to 2 laptops at home, and everything I'm trying to print comes out in black and white.

The settings are all set to color printing, as far as I can tell.

There is sufficient ink - when I align my cartrigdes the printer does print in color. I have tried reinstalling the drivers, reseting the printer settings to default and printing from different softwares and protocols.

Any help will be appriciated.

Recently I had changed my router and printer was not connecting wirelessly after that. Then I had to reinstall device driver and after that my printer is not printing in color. It prints everything in black and white only. Quality settings under Set Preference is also not found to change to color mode. Need help urgently.

My printer wants to pull the papaer through but is not able to do so because the gear is slipping. There are lots of loud whirring / clacking noise from inside - like something is broken.

Does anyone have advice on how to fix this problem please?

I bought my HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 1515 in Cyprus, but when I tried to replace the ink cartidges with original HP from the UK, I get an incompatible message.

Can anyone help me solve this problem.
