Hi @douglas53

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

The "Memory Low" error on your HP LaserJet 200 Color MFP M276nw usually happens when the printer is handling large or complex print jobs that exceed its available memory. Here are some steps to troubleshoot:

Steps to Fix "Memory Low" Error

Restart the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it for 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and restart.

Reduce Print Job Complexity

  • If printing high-resolution images or PDFs, try reducing the file size.
  • Print in black & white instead of color to lower memory usage.

Clear Saved Faxes (If Applicable)

  • On the printer’s menu, go to Setup > Service > Fax Service > Clear Saved Faxes.
  • This frees up memory.

Perform a Hard Reset

  • Turn off the printer, then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
  • Restart and test printing again.

Update the firmware on an HP printer:

  • HP regularly releases new firmware versions for printer enhancements, app updates, or issue fixes. Updating firmware ensures your printer performs optimally.
  • Click the link below for step-by-step instructions on how to update your printer’s firmware:
    HP Printer Firmware Update Guide.

Reset NVRAM (Non-Volatile Memory)

  • On the printer’s menu, go to Setup > Service > Restore Defaults.
  • This resets internal memory settings.

Let me know if any of these steps help! You deserve a smooth printing experience.

Hi @pete008,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Update Firmware and Software:

  • Ensure that your printer firmware is updated to the latest version. You've mentioned reinstalling new firmware, which is a good step. Double-check that it’s the latest version compatible with your printer model.
  • Similarly, ensure your MacBook Air’s printer drivers are up-to-date. Visit the HP Support website to download any available updates.

Check Print Jobs:

  • Sometimes, corrupted print jobs can trigger a 49 error. Clear all pending print jobs in the print queue from your Mac and iPhone before attempting to print again.

Network Connection:

  • Since you mentioned network issues with your iPhone, ensure that your printer is connected correctly to your Wi-Fi network.
  • Check if the devices (MacBook and iPhone) are on the same network as the printer.
  • Consider resetting network settings on the printer and reconfirm the settings on your devices.

Test Printing:

  • Try printing a different document or a test page to see if the issue persists. Sometimes specific documents can cause issues.

Use a Direct Connection:

  • Connect your printer directly to your Mac using a USB cable and try printing. This may help identify if the issue is network-related.

    I hope this helps.

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍

Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀

Hi @Linda388,

Thank you for the response.

Here's what you can try next:

1. Recalibrate the Printer Mechanism:
Sometimes after an update, the carriage may need to be recalibrated manually.

Turn off the printer and unplug it.

Gently move the printhead/ink carriage from side to side if it’s not locked.

Plug the printer back in and turn it on to see if it resets itself correctly.

I hope this helps.

@KateMG1865, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Print Errors for HP Smart Tank 7602!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It seems you're experiencing an issue where your HP Envy 17.3 laptop prints multiple pages with random letters and symbols to your HP Smart Tank 7602 All-in-One printer. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue:

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Ensure that your printer drivers are updated. Go to the HP Support website, search for your printer model, and download the latest drivers available.

Check Printer Connection:

  • Verify that the printer is properly connected to the same network as your laptop and that there is a stable network connection.

Reset Printing System:

  • On your laptop, access the printer settings and try to reset the printing system. This will clear any print queues and printer configurations. You can do this by:
    1. Go to "Devices and Printers."
    2. Right-click your printer and select "Remove device."
    3. Add the printer again after resetting.

Test with Different Applications:

  • Try printing documents from a different application to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is application-specific.

Check Print Spooler:

  • Sometimes the print spooler service can cause issues. Restart the print spooler service by:
    1. Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog.
    2. Type services.msc and press Enter.
    3. Find "Print Spooler" in the list, right-click it, and select "Restart."

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool to automatically diagnose and resolve printing and scanning problems.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!

Hi, Kuroi

Thank you for your reply to HotInCleveland.  It got me further than anything else I read.

I submitted a new post on 5/4/2025 (AliCon2) about the same issue.  I was able to determine the specific problem when I replaced the Cyn cartridge (tried both 951 and 951XL).  It was the only one that triggered the Printer Failure.  We have a second HP Officejet 8600.  It also experienced the same Printer Failure with the Cyn.  This we even after we put in all a new ink pack with all 4 cartridges.  Are you aware of any production issues with Cyn or can you suggest a workaround?  If we put in the depleted Cyn (that does not cause the Printer Failure message), I cannot even print in black/white.
Thank you in advance for your help.

The default PIN is 0000 you need to use only when you connect the device, once the device is connected you don't need PIN anymore.

Print Not Printing

$

My printer is an HP Smart Tank All-In-One 580. After successfully printing a few documents, the printer now refuses to print anything I send to the print queue—each document appears with the status "Unknown," and the printer does not respond at all. There is no error code displayed on the screen, the internet connection remains stable, and the HP Smart Printing app shows the printer as "Ready," yet nothing is printed.

I have to turn off the printer and leave it off for an extended period before turning it on again to get it working temporarily. I urgently need this issue resolved.

I have already installed the latest updates for the printer, and there are no pending Windows 11 updates. The printer appears in Device Manager with no issues reported, but I still cannot print anything. Please assist me as soon as possible.

Hi @Kuroi_Kenshi, thank you for your reply.  The print head/carriage is not locked and I moved it from side to side. When I switched the printer on the printer head did move alittle to left and then to right, but the error message still shows.  I repeated your instructions several times. Is there anything else I can try please?

Many thanks for your time and attention.

Hi @Kriegmeister

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Since your HP Ink Tank Wireless 415 hasn’t been used in five years, the ink inside the tanks and pipes has likely dried up, making it difficult for new ink to flow properly.

I'm sending you a private message to guide you on the next steps.

Hi.

Have you replaced your ink cartridges following the service cancellation?

When you cancel HP Instant Ink service, note that the ink cartridges no longer works and need to be replaced:

https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/ish_3259778-1993151-16

Cancel your account > Cancelling Instant Ink service

  • At the end of the billing cycle, you must remove Instant Ink cartridges and purchase Original HP Ink or Toner directly from the retailer of your choice to continue printing. Instant Ink cartridges only work in enrolled printers.
