It is hard to believe that this was not known by technical support. This worked for me as well. This error message shows up for a lot of owners I dont think I will by an HP Printer again.

I will NEVER again buy an HP printer. They literally hold you ransom by FORCING you to buy their cartridges which are outrageously expensive. I bought and paid for this machine. They are trying to monopolize the market #monopoly #BadBusinessPractice #sueHP

03-11-2025 FIRMWARE UPDATE made using BLACK remanufactured cartridge impossible. I installed new HP black cartridge. Three remanufactured COLOR cartridges remained in printer and were usable. Then after 04-01-2025 automatic PRINTER UPDATE, printer does not work. Might installing new HP color cartridges remedy this problem?

Thank you for your input. So far, no luck. The paper sensor is clean and there is no paper caught anywhere. I was able to download firmware but my laptop (MacBook Air M2) cannot install it, it keeps crashing. So at the moment there is, sadly,  no solution.

If you have any other suggestions, I'd love to hear them. Thanks again.

Hi.  All my issues started when i recently moved and therefore had to connect my printer to new wife.  I could not get it to connect.  Now I am getting Error 11.  I have tried resetting it and taking the cartridge out multiple times.  It still says error 11.  I was a HP smart ink customer and the cartridge came from that program, so it should work.  i assume it wont because i cant connect to the Wifi, but I cant connect to the wifi because I can get past the error 11.  To say this is frustrating is a massive understatement.  Unless this is resolved, I will purchase another printer and I certainly will not be another HP.  Not trying to be a jerk, but I run my own business and I just need my printer to work.  Period.

Hello, I have a Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283cdw. It just updated to the newest firmware. Now the screen freezes and I have to restart it to get the screen to work. I've tried resetting to defaults. What am I missing? Anyone have the last version of firmware? It worked great with it! Now it's useless as a copying machine

Am HP office jet 6968 keeps stating paper jam, but the real problem ink cartridges are struck on right side because the carriage won’t move. Restarts are not working

I run through all the steps like deleting the spooling program followed all the steps from HP

 second one was delete the drives and programs not sure if I've done that right

 keeps coming up with  queuing issue not fixed

 like a print the test page there is nothing Queening  but still will not let me print

Your replacement printhead didn't initialize properly, or it's defective. When nee printhead is installed for first several minutes there must be a pumping sound. Any chance you remember this happened?
