@Bucci99 - First off, thanks for the info on the boot loader screen. I had stumbled across it earlier, but did not know how to progress from there to the loader menus.
Finally had some time today to dig deeper into this, and I think we may have a solution.
First, HP released a Firmware update for the 7602 version 003.2450A dated February 5, 2025.
Downloading and running the firmware updater was unsuccessful as it was unable to connect to the printer over a network connection.
However, if you look in the temporary directory ("%TEMP%\7xS5EA5" or similar), lo and behold, there is a firmware image file "sayan_premium_plus_dist_pp1_003.2450A_nonassert_appsigned_lbi_rootfs_secure_signed.full2". Copying that file to a FAT-formatted USB drive (I used a spare 2GB I had laying around), inserting it into the printer and selecting "reflash" from the boot loader menu showed a progress bar after a few minutes. A few more minutes later, I received a message on the LCD that the latest firmware update was successful.
NOTE: I need to go back and make a note of exactly which option I selected, but I was able to get the printer to accept the firmware file from USB without needing to rename it.
NOTE 2: It looks like all you really need to do is have the USB drive in the printer with the firmware update and power-on/plug-in the printer. At that point it should auto-detect the firmware file and update accordingly.

hp all in one 9125 printer stuck on boot screen
I am running MacOS Sonoma 14.4.1. My hp all in one 9125 printer is stuck on the HP logo boot screen. I've only had it a few weeks. It's a touchscreen, so unable to access anything. HEY HP DEVELOPERS, MAYBE INCLUDE A MANUAL RESET BUTTON. I have gone through all of the (two) things I can do myself with an unresponsive touch screen, and it has not worked... HP continues to go downhill... I now have an expensive paperweight.

When printing it say Block in the queue,and i would need to press the resume icon to start printing.
When printing it keeps saying Block in the queue,and I would need to press the resume icon on my printer to start printing. It used to print automatically. Now it say blocked and I need to walk to my printing and press the resume button to make the print come out. What is causing it to be blocked. And how can I fix it to automatically print on its own.

HP OfficeJet 250 black cartridge not recognised
Hi, I have an OfficeJet 250 printer (bought in 2019) which has generally worked well. However it now won't recognise a newly-installed black cartridge.
I have always used genuine HP cartridges. The old cartridge ran out a couple of days ago, so I ordered a new one. When I went to install it today, first the printer would not start properly; on starting up, it would:
*announce "Remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed",
*show a blue screen error B8777D74, then
*show a black screen with the message "There is a problem with the printer. Turn the printer Off, then On".
I cycled through this a few times, then unplugged the power, took out the battery, and tried again.
When it started again, it appeared to work OK, but indicated that the black cartridge needed to be replaced. When I installed the new cartridge (yes I did take the orange tape off...), it went through its checking process, then issued the error saying "Remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed".
Since then, I have removed and reinstalled both cartridges numerous times, cleaned the contacts and the print head, cycled power on and off, unplugged it and removed the battery, re-powered the printer with every combination of 0, 1 and 2 cartridges installed.
No success.
It has now gone back to its original behaviour of instructing me to remove/reinstall the cartridge, followed by a blue screen error B8777D74, then the black screen saying "There is a problem with the printer. Turn the printer Off, then On".
In other words, I am £22 down on a black ink cartridge, with a printer that still won't work.

Hp desk jet 2755e all in one printer. Printer is printing blank pages. Ink is full, paper is correct paper, I have done a printhead cleaning x3 and have done an update. What could be the problem?

HP Officejet P9018 Printer--Blue Screen Error 01B3B8E6 2/8/25 (SOLUTION)
(HP P9018 printer blue box Error Code 01B3B8E6) Work was being done on the building's electrical supply wires & the power kept going on/ off. Eventually came to big blue box on the printer display with the listed code. HP Scan Doctor could not find the printer & the Printer Power Button would not turn it off. Internet said the code Indicates Hardware or Firmware failure. One fix listed to try was a hard reset of the printer: **With the printer power ON unplug the power cord at the back of the printer, unplug the other end of the power cord from the power source, wait at least 60 seconds & plug the power cord back in. Worked immediately for me & I printed a normal test page to verify.
