hi Rachel,

 

I already did the steps you suggested, all 5! but the problem persists, that is why I posted my query. Seems like there's a fault with the printer. Very disappointing because it is not very old at all. A very expensive printer to break down so easily.

Also, I see many people posting about the same issue... a sign that it is indeed a printer fault! HP should replace the printer head (or other parts if necessary) in this case! HP Tango is a premium-priced product that no longer works after a relatively short period of time and HP offer no solution to fix it. Plus very annoying that there's no 'live agent' to speak with to get quality help, these messaging systems are pointless.

My laser jet printer mfp m226dw prints multiple pages after each print job.  how do I stop this additional printing from occurring. The additional pages are mostly blank but for the same 4 lines at the top of each page that reads: 

post /ipp/printer HTTP/1.1

Content length 179,

Content Type: application/ ipp

Host: local host

I bought a HP2810e last week, set up fine, used for a few days and ink ran out. Instant ink subscription activated on day of purchase, no ink had arrived a week later, I've taken this up with HP separately. I had to go out and buy a new cartridge in the middle of a really important and time sensitive print job, now ink is showing as full and cartridge clearly has ink in but it is still printing with faint text in half of the document! I am so annoyed and frustrated, I literally bought the printer to avoid anything like this inconveniencing me this week as it was so important!

Hello everyone! He used printers well, but at one point he began to write that user intervention was needed, but then he stopped writing it. And when I press print, it doesn't print anything, and after restarting the printer, it prints everything that it asked for. What to do?

Good morning.

First I got a message  that there was a problem with my account and would not able to print soon. I did resolve that problem, I thought, ( I did changed my email address in the account but not with the instalation).

Then I got the message that I was not connencted with Router, or, when I was connected that a problem occured and can not print.

HP Diagnose and doctor can not find a problem, but I can not print a test page.

Firmware installed again: nothing happened.

Please does someone know if I can resolve the problem by a complete reset or something?

HP Photosmart Prem C410 Series – printer not responding

I'm printing from an iMac running macOS Sonoma 14.4.1 to an HP Photosmart Prem C410 Series printer. It normally works fine, but yesterday and today the printer window is showing a message saying 'The printer is not responding'. Both the iMac and the printer are connected to the same wifi network, and I get the same result when I send print jobs from other devices connected to the network. I've restarted the printer, but the problem is still there. What do I need to do to get the printer to respond?

Office jet pro 8600 ink cartrige damaged

Officejet pro 8600 priemium

After normal message of depleted yellow ink I replaced with an new hp cartrige, Message comes up carteige damaged so got a new cartrige installed and same message damged cartrige. Next I removed print head and cleaded. Then reinstalled head installed cartriges a yellow came back ok. but the blue now came back damaged. So i install a new blue cartrige and now it comes back with both yellow and blue are damaged. Could it be a memory error?

Any help would be appreciated

I'm not sure if you were able to see my most recent update, but for what it's worth it was:

 

Further to my original post, I eventually found the cause and how to fix it:

  • The cause was that the printer cartridge supplied (by a supplier I had used successfully previously) was for the wrong region. There is some "small print" on the cartridge's box that states that it is not for distribution within Europe, so I sent it back to the supplier who gave a full refund.
  • The cure was to buy another cartridge from a larger UK supplier (Currys) who sent the right cartridge. I checked the small print to ensure it was intended for Europe before opening it, and it worked like a dream.

Hope this helps anyone in a similar situation!

EnvyPro6430 information page keeps printing

Tried all suggested methods by the virtual assistant including removing the printer (remove failed result) and deleting all the printer files in Windows32/Spool but there is a file that is shown as in use which I assume is the culprit.
Need to be able to work but can't as spent time, paper and ink in an effort to resolve the issue without outside help

OK.  I get your reply and I am thinking "Hey, haven't I already done all of this stuff?  When you call for help with your pc they always say 'first let's reboot your computer', and I say well, ok."  I decide I'll do what he says one more time AND NOW IT IS WORKING!"  Sometimes, someone is in the right place at the right time.  That person was you.  Thank you for being that person.

Thank you for your suggestions. I finally got it working yesterday, but it was a bit of a tussle, so to speak. It started out telling me that the ink cartridges were improperly installed. After numerous reseatings, unplugging the machine for 15 minutes, etc., I finally resolved that (I had previously printed an alignment page adn checked alignment, so I knew the (new) cartridges worked.

On the software side, I had to uninstall what had become two copies of the printer in the printers list and  ferret out several other HP printer instances in Device Manager before rebooting the computer and using Windows' driver.

I tired this first with the printer connected directly to the laptop. Once this worked, I tried it with the connection made through a fully powered (AC power) device port, which is needed to run the large double monitors at the work station.        Happily, I was able to print the test document again, so all is well.

Oh, I also had to change the port from LPT1 to USB1, per instructions.  The USB (3) cable is a two-meter one, also new.

printer gives only 1/2 page print and eject . The module is HP Inktank wireless 415 series.Can anyone help to solve this issue. All 4 ink tanks are full.
