  • Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP LaserJet Pro M201dw. Sometimes, firmware updates can fix bugs or issues with the printer's behavior. Update the firmware on an HP printer
  • Reset Printer: Try resetting the printer to its factory defaults. This can sometimes resolve unexpected behavior. Refer to the printer's user manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.

Printer stuck on update screen

My printer went offline a couple days ago during a brief power outage. Ever since then, it’s been stuck on what looks like an update screen with a blue bar. I am not able to turn it off with the power button for some reason, but I’ve tried unplugging it and waiting multiple times, and a couple times unplugging and restarting my router alongside it as well.

 

My printer shows as offline/unavailable. I am not able to access any of the buttons on the touchscreen because it’s stuck on the update. I tried running diagnostics on it through HP Smart like the website suggested, but my device was not found. I’m really frustrated by the inaccessibility of HP Support and would like a solution, so please let me know if you’ve had the same issue or have any additional suggestions.

M201dw Laserjet Printer Stuck in Pause Mode

My Laserjet M201dw seems to be stuck in pause mode when printing.  There can be one or several jobs in the print Q and even if I resume printing it switches back to pause immediately.  I have a Mac with OS Sonoma and this has not been an issue until this week.

discontinued instant ink and my printer will not work even though I took out and replaced the ink

Hello, I recently discontinued my "instant Ink" agreement.  I got a notice that my printer would no longer print.  I exchanged the instant ink cartridges for cartridges I bought personally.  I still have an error situation.  I have turned the printer off and on.  I tried reloading the new cartridges, etc., but nothing has worked.  What can I do?

ENVY 4500 e- All in one printer is only printing in the color purple. When I do the ink test page, the color yellow does not print at the bottom. Only cyan and the other colors.

This printer is not supported by HP but is in good shape but is not functioning properly, and I keep getting the message "Refer to printer documentation", which is not helpful. I have changed the print cartridges but can't get it to work.

Printer will not print black ink only

6/6/2024, I have a HP Officejet Pro 7740 Printer.  I want to print with black ink only, while I wait for my color ink cartridges to arrive in the mail.  I can't print with black ink only because there is a message on the printer screen saying:" Cartriges Depleted - This printer is intended to work only with new or reused cartridges that have a new or reused HP chip.  Replace the indicated cartridges to continue printing."  I have only used original HP new ink cartridges in my printer.  I have never experienced this situation with my printer before.  

 

Does HP charge the same price for new and reused ink cartridges?  CLT28213.
