Hi @Katie8977,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The flashing power light and blinking "A" on the display of your HP DeskJet 2734e typically indicate an issue with the printer's alignment or setup. Since you already resolved the E0 error by replacing the cartridges, try these steps to fix the flashing power light and "A" display issue.
Perform a Cartridge Alignment
- Load plain white paper into the printer.
- Press and hold the Cancel (X) button and the Resume (triangle) button together for 3 seconds.
- The printer should print an alignment page.
- Place the alignment page face-down on the scanner glass.
- Press the Start Copy Black or Start Copy Color button to complete the alignment.
Restart the Printer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait about 60 seconds.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
- Check if the power light and "A" stop flashing.
Reset the Printer
- With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the back.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 2 minutes.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet, then into the printer.
- Turn the printer on and check if the issue is resolved.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
