In actual fact just realised the printer is in some kind of catatonic state - show the blue Wifi light and also a blue edge light but even lifting the lid does not wake the printer up - would normal move the cartridges out.

Het betreft een HP ENVY 6010 en de printopdrachten blijven, na een 1e opdracht te hebben uitgevoerd, in de lijst staan. Alle mogelijke oplossingen met de print en scandoctor, en chat met HP leveren geen oplossing.

Printer endlessly reboots

The printer keeps rebooting. It starts up, initializes, then appears to be ready to print/copy/whatever -- like you just pressed on the screen to wake it up. About 1 minute later, it reboots itself and repeats continuously. The printer has been in my office working as expected, then I went away for 3 days and when I came back it's doing this for who knows how long.

HP Envy 6000 not print on Lenovo Laptop

Hi,

I am really hoping that someone can help.

We have two Laptops, one is a HP and the other is a Lenovo.

We have installed the HP ENvy 6000 on both Laptops using HP Smart and both say ready, however the HP laptop will print but the Lenovo fails every time with a notification to say that Unable to print on (printer name)

we have looked and tried all advice online, both laptops are running Windows 10, on the same network ect.

They are also both able to print onto an Epson ET-3750 that we use, but the Lenovo and HP printer is a no go

Has anyone had this and know what we can do to fix it?

79 Error

It sounds like I have the same issue as everyone else over the past 2 days.  System 79 Error and the printer keeps rebooting.  I cannot hold it long enough to download any firmware.  I have every plugged it directly to the ethernet cable.  Reset many times to no avail.  Cannot contact HP customer support because apparently an expired warranty means that you cannot even speak to a representative to solve a problem, which is bogus.

Error 79 on HP LaserJet Pro MFP M426fdw

I have done my due diligence and researched this issue. So two days ago my MF printer started restarting without reason. Upon closer examination I noticed the "Error 79" before the restart. In my research I did the following, in order, verified all the cords where connect properly, did a overnight shutdown. The next morning I powered it up and after a delay of about 1.5 minutes it  restarted again. This time I disconnect the WiFi and wired networks and restarted. I also down loaded the latest firmware for the printer and installed it. After the firmware install I checked the HP configuration report to confirm the status of the printer. It was only after I reconnected the printer to the network did it restart. So I verified that no printer jobs where being sent to the printer and I restarted my router. I then configured my Synology router to block the printers IP from accessing the internet. At that point the printer was stable. I used the printer and scanner the rest of the day without issue. This morning I restarted the router and removed the blocked IP address and within minutes the printer displayed the Error 79 and restarted. I powered the printer down and reinstated the IP block on the printers IP and powered the printer back on and so far so good. Now I can live without remote access to my printer and my printer not being able to access the internet but I would like to solve this issue. Any Ideas?

Service Error 79

Yesterday my printer started with the 79 service error.  At first it happened every 5 minutes or so.  When the error comes up it restarts by itself.  Now it is basically stuck in a loop and showing the error almost immediately after rebooting.

Firmware has not been updated for sometime.  I rolled back firmware and disabled auto updates after an auto update made my non HP cartridges useless last year. It had been working fine until yesterday.

I read a few posts that said to turn off IPv6.  I did but it made no difference.  I also turned off wifi to see if I could get it to boot clean just once.  The  most recent error was fatal error 200.  I'm ready to ditch HP for life after this, but I need to get some orders printed while I wait for the new printer to arrive.

EDIT:  After turning wifi and IPv6 off it stops rebooting.  I'll try and find an ethernet cable and try that.  Problem is my router is in another room.

As I type this it seems to have stabled itself now it's no longer connected to the network (wifi, ethernet or USB), but it's kind of useless like that.  Any tips to get me through?

, Welcome to HP Support Community!

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Inkjet Printers - '0xc19a0005' or Similar Error Code and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

To everyone having this problem - turn the computer off and on (to clear out the error) then once it goes to Ready, go to Setup, Service, RESTORE DEFAULTS.  It worked for me!!!

I have had this problem all day and have tried everything.  if you can get your computer to the Ready screen long enough, go to Setup, Service and then RESTORE DEFAULTS.  It worked and my computer is running find now..

I don't know, but I read a post further down and it suggested this with success, so i tried it and it worked.  My computer is fine now.  Must have been something with our same printer or a bad firmware update.

I have the exact same issue with my new HP Envy Pro 6455. It will go catatonic when I haven't used it, then I have to unplug it to force a restart to get it working again. Very frustrating.

Hi @Dianamoon,

I'd like to help!

Let's try a power reset on the printer

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
