Welcome to the HP support community.

 

Remove the ink cartridges, and reset the printer

  1. Remove the ink cartridges from the printer.

  2. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.

  3. Unplug the power cord from the power source.

  4. Wait at least 60 seconds.

  5. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.

    NOTE: 

    HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

  6. Turn the printer on.

  7. Reinsert the ink cartridges, and then close the ink cartridge access door.

  8. If you receive a prompt to print a calibration or alignment page, do so.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

Let's try to reset the Printer here:

 

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Also, try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.

 

Also, try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168

2. Press the down arrow button to highlight Enable Web Services, and then press OK.

HP 7520 Printhead Issue - Failed Printhead or Failed Customer Service?

I have had a  HP7520 sitting in the box unopened for years, as my inkjet has served me well. However my son needed color printout for school, so i unboxed this beauty of a printer and the sample sheets printed fine, however i am now stuck with  "! Missing or failed printhead: The printhead appears to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed" 

i see lots of talk of cleaning the rollers, which i did.  This seems like a design flaw, anyone have any advice because HP has no customer service. this will be my last HP product as a result

HP M725 won't wake up after long sleep

My M725z printer won't wake up after a long sleep, I can not ping the printer and the touch screen will not turn on. Only way is to power cycle it.

 

I have a 5min timer for it to go sleep and when I print say 30min later, it works fine. Wakes up and prints. But say if no one prints over the weekend, the printer is unresponsive. I don't know how long it takes before it won't wake up anymore. I have to power cycle it each time.

 

I have updated the firmware to the latest available.

I had the exact same issue as you described and the fix is 100% that you have to register for the ink.  If you skipped this step, I am assuming this will resolve what happened.

I saw another similar thread on these boards that had a couple dozen steps, but I am fairly certain the only one that matters is registering for the ink (select plan, provide address, provide CC).  

You can cancel after 48hrs.  But this step seems mandatory... good luck...

Can you please send me instructions on how to reset the printer? I also often have the error code B305FF9 on the HP 9025. The  last firmware (MANHHIPP1N002.2103B.00 from 2021-01-15) is installed.

Printer in frozen on ho setup bar with power button flashing- I have unplugged fir several minutes and when I plug back in it returns immediately back to this flashing and frozen loading bar

If the printer is working fine you should not worry, the printer parts are not customer replaceable and we do not have a service manual for the same.

 

If in case the printer is experiencing any issues, you can take it to the nearest service center to get it checked.

OfficeJet Printer Failure

Printer quit in middle of print job with the following message:  "Printer Failure - There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn printer off, then on. If problem persists contact HP."

I've uninstalled and downloaded most recent software, but message persists.  Any ideas.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

Thank you for responding, but your solution does not work, I followed the steps and the envelope printed just had my return address in the lower left corner. I have a Laser Jet Pro M203dw.

Hi,

Not enrolled in HP Instant Ink. I am using original HP cartridges bought from the store. Connecting using USB cable. Worked very well till last week, but suddenly stopped printing. Only prints info page with mail icon.
