I don't have a problem with a paper jam. The paper won't feed right, it moves about 2" and stops. I have cleaned the rollers & done all of the other troubleshooting things and it still won't take the paper far enough into the printer to print. I used the printer yesterday, it worked great, until it ran out of paper, them it jammed 1 piece of paper, after that it wouldn't take the paperat all.

Won't Print Black Or yellow or at all sometimes
Hi I was given a HP Officejet Pro 8500a and I have been trying to get it to work for sometime now. First it was out of Ink and I replaced the Ink. It still says its out of ink..... I cleaned the Printerheads with the help of this website and it's still not working!!!!!!! It will Only print Blue and Pink and sometimes it won't even print at all. I really need some help if anyone can give me a hand. Thank you

I understand that you have a warning light on your Laserjet CP1025nw printer. I can help you with that.
First, make sure the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet and not a surge protector. Once that is done this document outlines how to troubleshoot blinking lights on your printer.
If after following the document you still have the lights on the printer then the printer may need to be replaced. You can contact HP support by clicking on this link and filling out the form at the bottom.

Sorry so slow. I went through the steps slowly and calmly this time but could not do Step 10 because I still cannot print. I just cannot believe a printhead would fail before the setup ink cartridges were empty and I hadn't even gone through a ream of paper. There is no way in Hades that I'm going to invest $200 every 2 years on a printhead (as was told by the live chat). I've been buying all HP products for years. That comes to a screeching halt as of today. Have you an address to which I can write to someone who has some authority at HP. There are too many people in this forum with the same problem and I, for one, think an HP bigwig should hear about this.

If it's in warranty call HP support and get a case started so of its a hardware failure you can get the machine repaired or replaced.

You are getting that message because a job is requesting the paper size A3, the printer is merely responding to the request from the job.
If you correct the settings for the print job then it will be printed on the proper size paper .

HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus Wireless Installation crashes after newest Windows 10 update
Okay, so I'm an artist who uses the scanner on my printer to put my artworks onto the PC I use. Now as you guys know, Windows 10 is NOT a perfect system, as it caused many printers to stop working. I'm having a problem with the latest update to Windows 10.
Now after updating I tried to scan some of my artwork, but the computer couldn't find it. I've checked the Doctor and it said that it wasn't installed, "Files are protected" the updater said! So, I try installing it and I got through to the "Do Your Part" part of the installation (This tells you about what you could do to save ink.) I click next and wait, no other pop-ups. It crashed! I try again, it still crashes! I've tried SO many times and it crashes at THAT spot! I can't stand it anymore!
Does anyone know what to do? I appreciate the help, even if you don't know.

Printing full page but half words
I was trying to print something from my iPhone 6 an it will print full pages but the words are cut in half an missing there other half there horizontally cut in half through the whole page when I tryed to clean printer heads an also do a alignment an the alignment was not successful

I too am having the ink on the edges of my envelopes. I looked for the automatic setting but could not see it. Is the capability available on my printer? If not can you suggest an alternative? I am trying to print my Christmas cards via a merged document which will pull the envelopes one after the other. Thanks

Can't print PDFs, Print & Scan Doctor freezing, freezes control panel, poor print quality
My printer had been having issues with poor print quality (black printing very faint) even though the ink cartridge was still approximately one-third full so I went and bought a new official HP black 61 cartridge. I had also had difficulty printing PDF files recently, i.e. the printer would make a whirring sound as if it was going to print a sheet but would not print any pages.
Upon inserting the black ink cartridge, the alignment page printed fine, as did a web page. But when trying to print a PDF file using Adobe Reader DC nothing would happen. I mean nothing, no sound or anything this time. So I browsed the forums trying to find a solution. I found plenty of others having this issue. So I tried what they tried: restarting the computer, printing the PDF through Chrome (as well as various other browsers), Microsoft Reader, and Nitro Reader. All gave the same result: nothing printed.
So I tried to run the Print and Scan Doctor. This hung up on the scanning for devices phase. I then tried to open the Printers and Devices section of the Control Panel in Windows. This froze as well. Now when I try to print the PDF from any program, the whole program just freezes up.
Please advise.

Printer Problem
I have a LaserJet M1212nf printer, which I had to re-install. The HP website does not recognize this name and says it is not supported. However, it does list and support the LaserJet Pro M1212nf. I managed to install the driver for the "Pro" model, but when I try to print it puts it in the "queue", and it won't print. Sometimes I can find the "HP Smart Install" icon and when I click this it will print (I cannot install the Smart Print as it says the printer has to be in a network.
How can I get this to print?
