It's Nov. 2015. I don't understand what the big deal is.

I have the 7500A. It's a great printer.

If the old Professional Series HP I had didn't cost and arm and a leg for ink, I would have stuck with it. I had a duplexer on it. It was HEAVEN. I don't know what HP is doing now. I'm disappointed but that's it.

No, there is no duplex capability for the 7500A. That's it. No need to keep asking the same question. You made it all the way into this forum, go back and read through like the rest of us. It's only two pages, not to mention, some contributers were really nice and offered alternative solutions (aka, print odd, do the hokey pokey and turn your pages around print even.)

It'll be really nice when HP gets a clue! The 7500A is nice and wide. How many printers that are affordable can handle 11x17 paper? Great job on the printer HP, crap job on the foresight. Is it bad design that there's no duplex capability? Have you guys run out of cash? What's the deal exactly? How about you recognize that enough of us are asking,...... GET 'ER DONE! PLEASE! Imagine how happy you'll make us....? See sales go up.... see us make ink purchases, see us say good things online about HP......

When printing on my HP Deskjet 3512, the rollers are leaving marks on the paper as it is pulled in. I just recently started using HP Advanced Photo Paper (8.5x 11). Also single sheets will not feed in, I either have to give the paper some help or put some printing paper behind the photo paper.

 recognize the printer even using the Apple Updates.  When I turn on my printer, I get an error message that says "The disk is not supported...." and then I get a choice whether to eject or cancel. 

If I had known this would happen, I wouldn't have upgraded to El Capitan.

I really appreciate your attempt at solving my issue. Maybe there will be a fix at a later date.

I was trying to scan something from my printer (that is wired, unfortunately) to my Compaq Presario CQ5500F desktop pc. But got a message that it wasn't connected. I thought maybe it was the driver. I uninstalled it, reinstalled it, downloaded and installed an updated driver, etc. nothing worked. I wonder if it has "died"??? Anyone know what I should do besides buying another printer (that I cannot afford right now)?

I have an issue printing images from within MS Word or PPT. I copy the image into the program but when I print it will cut-off the right hand side of the image. It cuts it off no matter what size I make it.. When looking at Print Preview all is well, but when it's printed the right hand side is cut-off although it does look like it's the correct size...its almost like its zoomed in.

In the print environment we have 8 macs and 7 windows machines. All Mac's have the same issue, while none of the windows machines do.

I'm going to try a few things and will get back to you on what actually solved the issue. Thanks!

I am trying to print on HP Deskjet 1112 using BeagleBone Black board running on Debian 7.8. I have used cups 1.5.3 as the interface.

I am able to install the printer using lpadmin command but when I try to print I get the error "hpcups" failed. The error log is posted below:

I tried to install the printer using 'hp-setup -i' but it is not detecing my usb printer when I give the '0' option. The output of the interactive session with hp-setup is also given below

When I print out bank transactions from page 2 onwards where the word ....Date...is in top left corner each letter tracks down the page ( like a 4 strand barcode ) . Unfortunately it is over the transaction dates . My lady has the same printer but when I access the same field and print it is clear  ...therefore the problem is in my setup.........could it be caused by upgrading to windows 10 ???

I have the HP Officejet 7110 Wide format with 4 ink cartidges (image below)

The printer refuses to print when one of the cardige is very low, however, the last print out was very much acceptable with very good quality.

The only way to bypass this is:

1. Sending the document to printer and wait for the printer to refuse with the orange light flashing. (note that the printer will ignore the pressing of the "insert sheet" button)

2. Switch the printer off, and back on.

3. Press the "Insert sheet" button once, and et voilá!

It will worj few times with very nice quality, but now it just refuses to print at all.

Why can't I spend the last drop of ink? How to bypass this? 

The cartidge protection is already disabled in the printer driver.

I'm using the EWS to manage settings on an HP 4100mfp which was previously part of an Exchange server-centred network. At that point, I could send email (scans) FROM addresses entered TO addresses entered via the printer control panel.

I've tried all of Gmail's smtp-relay.gmail.com / smtp.gmail.com / aspmx.l.google.com ... to no avail. 

I imagine I'm missing something obvious.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm about 4 hours in, more knowledgeable than when I started, but still scanless.

My Officejet Pro 8600 printer is having persistent paper jam issues.  It will not print anything at this point.  Every single time I try to print something the paper gets bent and folded inside the machine and I have open it up and pull it out.   What can I do to try and fix this?
