Ok so I got a print out from my printer that makes me email a document to print!? Why cant i just print directly from my pc? I also wastes the first sheet, just to tell me that I came from my email. How can I get this working properly???

Re: My instant ink cartridges have dried up
HP Instant Ink is a subscription service that sends ink before you need it based on your printing volume and ink levels. You might not receive ink cartridges every month. If you print many pages, you might receive multiple ink cartridges in a month.
It is recommended to print at least a couple of times in a week so that the ink does not dry up.
If you have tried cleaning the ink cartridges from the printer control panel and the issue persists, I need more information to help you out.

I have a HP Deskjet 882C printer that won't stop printing gibberish in spite of no docs in queu.
printer has been working fine, then suddenly when sent an email to print, began this run of gibberish. I have tried disconnecting, restarting computer and printer...still, it starts back up printing and won't stop.

Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:
Reset the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
Check for any paper jams inside the printer and also if the print carriage is moving freely.
The wireless light may blink if the printer is not connected to the wireless network. Check the connection.
Check the ink levels on the printer. refer to page 59 of the user guide to know how.

0x61011bed error message on my HP Officejet 6700 Premium
After changing cartridges I get an 0x61011bed error message. I am buying a new printer tomorrow.
Maybe this was caused by using non-HP ink cartridges. Could be. If so, one more reason not to buy an HP ever again.

Cannot Print From PC with new software.
I have previously asked about the new software and wanting to revert to the old one so that I can print again from my pc. I uninstalled all HP apps, software and drivers. Reinstalled again all the HP apps, software and drivers. HP Smart then tells me that my printer is ready and installed. I go to print and i sends me a .prn file of what I intended to print. I also printed out a sheet from the printer that gave me an email to send documents to print. I did this but had no way of editing the preferences/settings of the printer and it wasted the first page only to say "printed from @email" and I could no make it double sided. I have made the account and added the printer and the device start up will not close as well...
If i cannot find a solution to this, I will be returning the printer and never buying from hp again. Will also be posting on BBB.

Need to bypass setup cartridges
My Envy 5055 did NOT come with setup cartridges and I need to print or return the printer to the store. I looked everywhere in the box, on the printer, etc. and they did NOT come with the printer. Is there a way to bypass this so I can print? Thank you

Re: Envy 4500 not printing every line
My printer (Envy 4500) was skipping every few lines of the document. I took out the black cartridge (brand new I might add), and printed with just the color cartridge- it printed perfectly. Now, I'm stuck with a "full" useless black cartridge. Ink cartridges aren't cheap, so I'm pretty annoyed it was a defect on HP's part. The hours I spent trying to fix this problem was also super annoying. Thank you to DVortex for posting this easy fix. I wish I would have read it sooner.

Re: Printing not lined up on paper labels
I had the same problem with Avery 5195, it would start at the top edge of the label, then at the bottom the first line of the text would be above the label.
I cut 1/8" off the top of the sheet, and all the text was on the labels.

Have you tried using an alternate black ink cartridge and check if the issue persists?
Reset the printer

- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
Check estimated ink levels and replace any low or empty ink cartridges.
Clean the printhead or ink cartridge
Perform step 6 mentioned in this document.
To know how to align newly installed print cartridges, refer to page 70 of the user guide.
