Not sure if this is due to a Windows update or what but frustration doesn’t begin to explain....
HP remotes in to fix the connectivity on my printer and it worked but it randomly loses a connection.

I have the same issue when trying to print to our Color LaserJet M452. We can print to another printer type with no issues but have problems with the laserjet. One workaround for Excel that we found was to open Excel as administrator then open the file from within Excel. This allowed up to print without the error but we shouldnt have to take the extra steps.

It might be due to either printer or PC far away from the wireless router. We would recommend to keep Printer and PC closer to router to have good signal.

Hi, glad in one way it's not just us but on the other hand sorry to see someone else has similar issue. The only started a week ago never experienced it before. We identified a possible windows 10 update but even pc's without that patch still don't print without the error. Just wondering if one of the updates had driver updates for HP as something is definitely different from a week ago. It's as though the printer is not broadcasting the right paper type and getting confused when printing. I've re-opened my case with Microsoft as this is a big issue for us.

We are having the same issue and have a little work around for now I guess chrome is working on a fix and it has something to do with print preview so you can try this below
I added this line to the end of the target to disable the print preview. This will disable the option to “Save as PDF” as well but its something to work through until Chrome creates the fix.
Right click on Chrome, propertied and add --disable-print-preview in the box below (There is a space between “ and -- )
Can't print some documents from HP desktop to HP printer
Recently, I cannot print from documents to printer although wireless connection is intact. I can print test page and can print email from IE but not from chrome or firefox.

The problem most likely is the following Windows update: October 3, 2019—KB4524156 (Monthly Rollup)
Uninstall, reboot computer and try printing again 🙂
new ink cartridge not printing
just got a new black ink cartridge delivered from the HP store. When I install it there are no error messages but no black ink comes out. I can check ink levels and it shows it as full.
When I put the old black cartridge I am replacing back in it prints fine. (but is low on ink).
Never had this happen before - any ideas?

In the office products that you are having issues with add the following behind the target: right click and show in file, then right click properties add --disable-print-preview in the end of the target box (There is a space between “ and -- )
Nearly constant real paper jams in my OfficeJet Pro 8720, despite cleaning, unjamming, etc.
I love this OfficeJet Pro 8720, however lately it is nothing but problems when trying to print.
Nearly upon every print it will jam, most notably by taking up too much paper... despite having fanned it out a couple times before putting it into the printer. That said, it's not always taking too many sheets... sometimes it just seems to get jammed, but I can't tell a specific area.
Based on one bit of guidance I found on HP's site I took apart all the user-accessible items and cleaned off the things like rollers, dust, etc... and unfortunately that hasn't helped either. I'm at loss as to what to do next.
Would love some more advice... I'm not as familiar with InkJets but I am wondering if there is something just worn out, but I wouldnt know what.

cannot print anything, replaced both ink cartridges and have nothing but problems since. (1) error message-one or more of the ink cartridges has a problem (2) tried everything in the instructions (used eraser on contacts, unplugged power cord from back of printer, then from wall outlet, then left unplugged over night, tired reloading software, firmware. now, the error message says (1) both cartridges are empty (2) the printer is busy?? has had this last error message for several days now??

HPC 5180 All in One, won't pick up photo paper in the photo tray to print
HP C 5180 All in One Printer.
Only recently, the printer won't pick up photo paper from the photo tray. I have watched the process inside the printer. The photo tray is inside, with photo paper. The rollers are spinning trying to pick up photo paper, after a few minutes, the tray returns to the original position. Error message says to load paper in the photo tray. I have repeated this process many times, but the printer rollers will not pick up the paper to be printed on. I have previously had great success printing on photo paper for several years.

Inverted Duplex Printing from Officejet 8710 on Mac OS Mojave
I am using a MacBook on OS Mojave 10.14.6 and have encounter this problem which all the duplex printing from this printer was inverted. I have tried all the possible solutions I could find over the web and from the previous discussion in this community forum regarding this issue. Action performed as below:
-reset all printing setting
-install a driver of my printer from HP Support
-uninstalled and reinstalled the Adobe Reader
Please advise whether we have got to do a manual duplex printing from this printer or it was my setting problem.
