Re: Can the HP Envy 5030 All-in-one print on custom paper sizes?
Re: Not had a Tri-Colour Catridge since 23rd Feb 2017 - How do I get a new one. My HP Envy is connec
Hello James,
If you wish to continue with Instant Ink, the contacts are in your account. Here’s one link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-instant-ink-series/5264756/model/5401249/document/c03767640
You can see how many pages (total) printed in the Printer Status Report. Find it on the front display panel: touch Setup (gear wheel) > Printer Maintenance > Reports > Printer Status Report.
Food for thought: If the cartridge lasted that long, you may not really need Instant Ink. If you will print at least 50 copies/month It costs $3/month. Otherwise replacing the ink cartridges from a retailer might be worth considering. The Instant Ink cartridges apparently have more ink than those available at the store. (I don’t subscribe to I.Ink)
HP Instant Ink plans cost: 50/MONTH @ $3; 100/MONTH@ $5; 300/MONTH @ $10
Walmart prices (as of 08-28-17):
HP62XL cartridges: $31 (b&w 600pg.); $29 (color 415pg.)
HP 62 cartridges: $13 (b&w 200pg.); $18 (tricolor165pg.)
Best Buy prices (as of 08-30-17): HP 62 $13 (black – regular price $l7 ) and $18 (multicolor) (regular price $22)
My theory on the XL cartridge is: buy the HP 62 (not the XL) if don't print a lot and so it doesn't dry up. The price per copy is the same; i.e., the HP 62 for $13 (on Amazon) compared to $35 for the XL; and the HP 62 prints 200 copies, while the XL prints 600. So the cost per copy is the same. With Amazon prime, shipping is free.
I am not an HP employee; just searching for helpful answers for queries on the forum.
A reply is greatly appreciated, if suggestions help or not, as the multitude of volunteers on the forums respond to lots of queries, which requires a great deal of time. Good luck.

Re: Unable to print non-standard size paper
Welcome to HP Support Forums.
I understand that you have an HP ENVY Photo 7155 All-in-One Printer and are unable to print invitations on 5.5 x 8.5 and a message appears saying "you have the wrong size paper". I appreciate your efforts in troubleshooting this issue and have certainly done a good job.
During my research, I found that this printer supports the following paper sizes: (Source: https://hp.care/2GIPBXR)
The 5.5 x 8.5 size does not seems to be a supported paper size by this printer.
Secondly, are yo attempting to print on a plain paper or a card stock paper?
Please ensure that you choose the supported paper type and paper size and then try to print. From the print settings of the application you're attempting to print from, choose the correct paper type and paper size and then print.
The information mentioned under "Paper type, size, and input tray settings" from this HP document should help in choosing the correct paper type and size: https://hp.care/2BDe9LJ
I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. Let me know.
Cheers!
Re: HP Deskjet GT 5810 yellow does not print!
I do not understand what you're saying?
Re: Can the HP Envy 5030 All-in-one print on custom paper sizes?
Thanks for the speedy reply.
I've checked the specification, can't see any mention of it. Going through the user guide indicates that the paper size can be changed but it only mentions doing so via a drop down menu, so presumably custom sizes are not an option.
If anyone has any experience that would confirm (or even better contradict) the above, that would be great
Re: Roll over pages
With the 50 page plan you will never have over 50 pages as you can only roll over 1 months worth.

Re: Printer Validation Failed
Welcome to HP Support Forums. A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.
I understand that you are getting a Printer Validation error after an update
I'll try my best to help
I suggest you start with a Printer Reset
(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.
(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Then uninstall the Printer Driver from Root level
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

Re: Pay monthly for ink, now run out and can't get hold of anyone to resolve
I pay a monthly fee to HP for replacemnet ink (hpinstantink) up until last november 2017 all was fine I recieved an email adising that a replacement colour cartridge had been despatched, Last week my printer indicated that a replacment black cartridge was required, havent yet recieved it nor an email confirming despatch. searched the hp website for help thats a fat lot of good they simply direced my to an order page to purchase a replacement. It's not like you haven't heared of me since you send me a monthly statement which also indicates how many pages I have printed which has always been below my target number.
Really disapointed with the service ans upport ofered by HP, seems I have paid in excess of £100 since i joined the scheme for just ONE colour cartride which I could have purchased for less than £25 with my Dixons staff Discount. Very difficult to recomend this deal.
Very unhappy customer
