Printer will not copy. Put 8.5x11 paper in feeder or face down on glass & error msg is: copier does not support copying A2 envelope.

Unfortunately, the drivers fail to install. Seems just another failed HP product.

I am junking my old Officejet 6600. Do these printers have a hard drive inside that should be extracted & destroyed? Thank you.

Guys - the way to safely remove this crazy HP Device Monitor is to open a terminal and run this command:

 

launchctl remove com.hp.devicemonitor

 I dont get the screens suggested to print in black only on hp pro8710  with Windows 10. I only get five prompts on the color management screen.

Connectivity of HP Solutions to HP Photosmart C5180 Printer

I have changed my router and now I can no longer use HP Solutions to my HP Photosmart C5180 printer. I have the printer in my Control Panel listed and can print but I am unable to get it connected to HP Solutions so that I can scan, etc.  I have uninstalled the older printer software and driver and reinstalled using HP Print and Scan Doctor.  When thru the whole installation process but during the networking connection portion, it could not locate my HP C5180 printer.

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you are unable to print from Ms Excel on HP Officejet 7612 Printer. I would like to help you resolve this issue.

 

Uninstall your printer from Programs and Features.

  1. If your printer connects to the computer with a USB cable, disconnect the cable from the printer.

  2. Search Windows for programs and features, and then click Programs and Features in the list of results.

  3. In the list of installed programs, click your HP printer name, and then click Uninstall or Yes.

  4. If a User Account Control message displays, click Yes.

  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the software removal.

    If the software uninstall process does not start or an error displays while uninstalling, download Fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed (in English) from the Microsoft website, and then try uninstalling again.

  6. After the software uninstall is complete, restart the computer.

Remove the printer from the devices list.

 

  1. Make sure the printer is turned on and in a ready state.

  2. If your printer connects to the computer with a USB cable, disconnect the cable from the printer.

  3. Search Windows for devices, then click Devices and Printers in the list of results.

  4. Right-click the icon for your printer , click Remove Device, then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the printer removal.

    If multiple icons exist for your printer, remove them all.

Click here and install full feature driver of the printer and add the printer.

I just put in new ink cartridges and got a pop-up on my computer prompting me to collect my rewards. Unfortunately that gets an error "Can't connect to HP Awards" (Praphrased)

i switch internet co. in doing so i lost my wifi from the computer to the 4620 printer how do i get it reconnect. how do i run the set up wizard ,cant find it on the printer.

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP OfficeJet 6500A Printer. I understand that you are getting network connection issue and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.

 

Restart the computer, printer, and router.

Check the network and printer connection status.

Manually connect the printer to your network.

Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor.

Temporarily disable firewall software on the computer.

Uninstall the HP driver and software.

Reinstall the HP software.

 

Click here and refer the document to perform the above steps.

The link you sent me explains how to install a new printhead or I should say how to deal with an error message AFTER installing a new printhead. I have not removed or installed a new printhead. I was thinking that my printhead was bad after doing what you suggested. Are you now saying that you believe my printhead is bad. I mean you kind of jumped from trying to resolve my color issue to sending me a link on how to install or work with a newly installed printhead.

exit from quick forms

I have the same problem already posted about not being able to exit from "quick forms" on the display screen of the C410 printer.

The solution provided doesnt work because I can not work any of the buttons on the printer.

 

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Again I tried to reset the printer but it does not work.  I can print from my computer but can not copy or go to the main menu on the dispay screen.

If you do not know what that is, you do not have the service.

My version of Win 10 was updated automatically yesterday by Microsoft to the Creators edition.  Now my printer HP OfficeJet Pro 8620 will not print.  It operates ok as a scanner but the printer driver appears to not be active.

 

I've downloaded the installation file for this printer from the HP support web site and tried to re-install it but no go.

 

The printer is connected to the computer by the USB cable.

 

I've been through the HP support files but have not found any solution that works.  I need my printer urgently for business so please help quickly.
