Thanks for that. I will give it a try,
Re: No print on paper
Re: I am unable to copy any 81/2 by 11 document after printing a # 10 envelope
Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community! I came across your post and wanted to assist you.
I understand that you are unable to copy on size 10 envelopes.
Don't worry, I will be glad to assist you.
Are you able to scan to your computer? YES
Are you able to print or copy on regular paper? I CAN PRINT. I AM NOT ABLE TO COPY
Based on the specifications on your printer, the printer does support Size 10 envelope. Click here. IF THAT IS THE CASE, HOW WAS I ABLE TO PRINT ENVELOPES?
I understand that you are trying to make a standard copy of 8*10 on your printer. Please try the steps below:
- Place the regular 8*10 paper in the paper tray and the document you wish to copy in the ADF or the scanner bed.
- Press copy and go to the copy settings.
- Under copy menu, go to "Tray/Paper Management" and scroll down to the "Restore Settings" option. THE COPY SETTING MENU DOES NOT HAVE A "TRAY/PAPER MANAGEMENT" SETTING NOR DOES IT HAVE A RESTORE SETTINGS OPTION.
- Restore the settings and then simply start the copy and check. I DID RESTORE THE MACHINE TO FACTORY DEFAULTS. DID NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM
If the message is still stuck on the screen, try doing a power drain to remove the same. Here are the steps:
· With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. COMPLETED
· Remove USB cable, if present. NO USB PORT
· Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge. COMPLETED
· Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer. COMPLETED
· Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is id
THE ABOVE ABOVE STEPS WERE COMPLETED. IT DID NOT FIX THE ISSUE.
If your printer connected wirelessly, make sure to temporary connect the device with USB and then follow the link to install the latest firmware update for your printer, using this link: http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/OJ4650_R1617A.exe
I CANNOT COMPLETE THIS STEP AS THE PRINTER DOES NOT HAVE A USB PORT. HOWEVER, THE PRINTER FIRMWARE IS COMPLETELY UPDATED.
THE ABOVE STEPS DID NOT RESOLVE THE ISSUE. PRIOR TO MY THROWING THIS PRINTER OUT THE WINDOW CAN I SPEAK TO AN ENGLISH SPEAKING SUPPORT PERSON LIVE?
Let me know if those steps worked for you.
If they did, that’s awesome!
Give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,
That’ll help us and others see that we’ve got the answers!
Good Luck.

Re: HP ENVY 5540 won't print in color
I would like to confirm that I was having the same issue as everyone else here, and after following the instructions from DavidSMP starting at "If it copies correctly then try these steps if the OS is windows: " and I now have a working print driver, with colour capabilities.
Thank you DavidSMP for finally providing a solution that works
Replaced all ink yesterday (HP 950 & 951) as printer indicated it was depleted, still not printing
Hi, after installing all new ink cartridges in my printer, it still will not print. I have turned it off and on as per the instructions, which say to contact HP if this does not resolve the issue.
Battery wont charge
I run my HP mobile 100 on battery. I try and charge each night. However the charging light only stays on for a few seconds and I know the battery has had heavy usage. After 1- 2 days the battery dies and I am forced to use power. Also the battery indicator is not working.
There have been a couple of times when everything has worked but these are rare.
I have tried a new battery and a new charger with no result
Can you help?
Re: My HP Envy 5535 blocks refilled ink
I clearly remembered that after the firmware update (ORL1CN1547AR) in September last year, every time after I refill my cartrige, my printer will give the "Conterfeit Cartrige Detected" error message and switch to single cartrige mode by itself and cause the refill cartrige no longer be usedful.
Re: I bought HP 5820 wifi printer. I am giving printing command but error coming everytime.
Hello,
Allow me to welcome to HP Support Forums! It is a great platform to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!
Going through your post, I understand that you are having trouble using your new GT 5820 printer. To assist you with this issue, I need to know whether the printer can make a "Photocopy" or not.
Place a document face down on the scanner glass and press the copy option on the printer control panel. Let me know if it makes a good copy or not.
If the copy fails, then try the steps listed here: http://hp.care/2uTy0pi
Also, let me know what exactly is the error display so that I can provide you with specific steps.
If the copy works fine, then let’s first try to fix this issue using HP Print and Scan Doctor (PSDR). PSDR is an automated tool which can diagnose and resolve printing and scanning problems. Please go to http://hp.care/2bZ9w2q to download and run HP PSDR. Once you open the program, select your printer and click on “Fix Printing” to automatically diagnose and fix the issue.
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!
Good luck

Re: Problem with printer or ink system
Thank you. I have not tried to clean the cartridges for leaks. The error message is on both the computer screen and printer screen. I performed a hard reset, but it is still in the same error state. Won't let me try to print a test page. The error message did not show up on computer this time, but I'm sure it's because I'm not sending anything to print on it. I am not using a surge protector. It is plug in directly to the wall. I called hp support yesturday prior to posting on this Forum, but the automated system said they could not answer my call at that time and hung up on me. I've called five times since then with the same result. If you have anyother suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: FAULT CODE C9C700000 DISPLAYED
Hey there!
I understand you are getting fault code C9C700000 on your printer.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you make any changes to your printer?
Please try few steps recommended below.
In some cases, removing the ink cartridges and resetting the printer can clear the error message.
Turn on the printer.
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
Disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the printer. If your printer has a network or wireless connection, leave it connected.
Remove the ink cartridges from the printer.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and from the wall outlet or power strip.
Wait at least 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE:
HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to a wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Reinsert the ink cartridges, and then close the ink cartridge access door.
If you receive a prompt to print a calibration page, do so.
If you disconnected the USB cable, reconnect it to the rear of the printer.
Try to print.
If the issue still persists try updating the printer firmware and check if it helps.
Update the printer firmware using this link.
Let me know if this helps!
I hope you have a great day!

Re: unable to print pdf files in B&W
Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out
As I understand you are unable to print in B&W using PDF files,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
Is it limited to PDF alone or are images & documents going through the same issue?
Are you using a genuine HP ink cartridge?
While you respond to that, I recommend you follow the below steps:
Step 1: Use genuine HP ink cartridges
HP recommends that you use genuine HP ink or toner supplies. HP cannot guarantee the quality or reliability of non-HP or refilled cartridges. If you do not use genuine HP cartridges, the steps in this document might not resolve the issue. To check the authenticity of your cartridges, go to hp.com/go/anticounterfeit.
Step 2: Allow the printer to rest
Sometimes, print quality issues can be resolved during a period of inactivity. Consider waiting for about 30 minutes, and then try the print job again.
If these steps resolved the issue, you do not need to continue troubleshooting.
If the issue persists, continue to the next solution.
Step 3: Check the paper
Follow these guidelines to make sure that the paper is appropriate for the print job. If it is not, reload the printer with an appropriate paper type.

(Though the header/title may be different, the steps will help resolve your concern).

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the PC

Paper not feeding and printing is off center
I have an 8710 all in one, I have had it less than a year. Until the last few weeks it has worked great.
Unfortunatly, I have problems I can not solve with it.
First off, cardstock that I have always used and is within the guildlines is not feeding properly. I get a paper jam error when there is no jam. The paper is set to plain heavy and it will not feed. When it does feed the printing is all off. The first page might print correctly but subsequent pages with have less and less with the top of the paper cut off.
I have cleaned the inside, I have played with the paper settings and nothing it working.
I am a teacher and I need a good printer. Frustrated.
Re: Printing on card
I can clear the jam O.K. but maybe you can tell me the highest GSM the printer will take. As I said I am sure the printer was taking higher than 200gsm awhile back

Re: Printing special forms (checks) improper alignment
Hey there!
I understand when you print special forms it's printing in improper alignment.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you make any changes to your printer?
Have you tried checking with a different brand paper?
Check the paper size setting to make sure it matches the paper you want to print.
NOTE:
Some printers have an option to ignore the error and continue printing. If you choose to ignore the error, the margins on your printout might not be proportional to the edges of the paper.
In the program, you want to print from, click File, and then click Print.
Make sure your printer is in the Name or Printers drop-down list box, and then click Properties, Printer Properties or Preferences.
Click the Paper/Quality tab.
Click Advanced, if necessary, and then click Paper Size.
Select the paper size that matches the size and type of paper loaded in the printer tray, and then click OK. If there are no matching paper sizes, select the size from the list that is closest to the size of the paper loaded in the tray.
Click OK, and then try to print.
NOTE:
If you are printing envelopes, you might need to change the mail settings of the program you are printing from in addition to adjusting print settings in the driver. For information on changing envelope settings in Microsoft Word, see How do I adjust the envelope settings in Microsoft Word? in the FAQ section of this document.
Refer this article to further troubleshoot alignment issues.
I'll keep an eye out for your response.
I hope you have a great day!

Re: How do I reduce print size and print all pages??
Thanks for the response and it's not just font adjustments I am trying to resolve, it's also incomplete printing in that my HP 110-114 stops after 1 page. These problem occur regardless of where I try to print from.
