I have had my printer for several years and had very few issues with it however recently it has decided that I need the set up cartridges that were used when I bought the machine. Is there any way around this issue?

Finally the printer works again, no more fuser error.
I de-soldered the photointerrupter PS301 in the upper left corner of the board RM1-8705 and replaced it with a new RPI-579.
The new voltages measured are 2.76V obstructed and 0.140 unobstructed.
I even had ordered a complete replacement board, which I didn´t need to try out.

My HPEnvy5660 print jobs constantly in que
FIrst, the touch screen is not usable. When we have to reload paper, it will tell me, and want me to press OK, but I cannot. So I also cannot use the scan feature on it, because the touch screen not working.
Secondly, I spent hours on a project, and ready to print it, and the project shows up in the queue, but never prints.
So I emailed it to myself, to see if I could use the print share app that I always use, to see if I could print it that way. It says, 1% loading. AND NEVER CHANGES. So it's not going to the computer. I have checked the Wi-Fi connection. I restarted the computer and the printer. NOTHING.
I even unplugged both devices for ten seconds, plugged them back up. I have the same issues. And now, I am not going to be able to print my project out. WHAT DO I DO????

Just unboxed new printer. Upon first uses it sounds and acts as if it will dance right off the table. We checked all the obvious and the noise consist. This printer is getting ready to go back to store.

My HP Envoy 5530 Printer gives me an "incompatible cartridte" error for the black cartridge
My HP Envoy 5530 printer suddenly stopped working during a print job, giving me an error that the black print cartridge was incompatible. I have genuine HP cartridges and this never happened before. I took out and reinstalled the cartridge same error. Did a hard reset - same errror. Went to Staples got new cartridge, both color and black and reinstalled. Same error. What can I do next? I really love this printer and never had the slightest trouble with it before.

Sorry to hear about your HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 acting up after the power outage -storms can be brutal on electronics, especially when surge protection isn't in place.
From your description -the home, back, and Wi-Fi buttons are lit but the power button isn’t, and the printer won't fully power on, it sounds like the printer's logic board or power supply may have suffered a surge-related failure. This is unfortunately all too common when devices are directly plugged into the wall during electrical storms.
Here are a few things you could try before considering hardware replacement:
Basic reset:
Unplug the printer completely (including the power cord from the back of the printer and the wall).
Wait a full 60 seconds.
Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds (to discharge any residual power).
Plug the power cord back in directly into a wall outlet (bypass power strips or surge protectors temporarily to rule out any faulty intermediaries).
Try powering on again.
Different outlet test:
Try plugging the printer into a different known-working outlet, preferably on a different circuit.
Inspect for burnt smell or visible damage:
If you notice any unusual odor or signs of burning near the power port or vent areas, that’s a pretty clear sign of internal damage.
If none of the above helps and the printer is out of warranty, you're probably looking at a failed power supply unit/module or system board, both of which can be difficult and costly to replace on a consumer-grade AIO printer like your 7740.

I need help with Smart Tank 580.
My printer blinks E1 error code (Mismatch Size Paper), however I have used the correct A4 size. Ive tried to clean the printhead via the Smart App but it keep having same issue. I have also updated the hardware but problem still persist. Any way I can fix this issue? It's reoccuring now.

Unfortunately, none of these remedies worked, not unlike disconnecting the power cable for over 45 minutes and disabling IPv6.
After talking with HP Support personnel for the past two days, the official diagnosis was that the .pdf file I was trying to print had some sort of incompatibility with the printer's software.
