HP LASERJET P2015
On my Smart Tank 6000, all lights are flashing with an 88 error code.
Thank you for the feedback, all your suggestions have been tried with no change. To clarify, the printer is able to successfully print the document in duplex mode, the issue is happening AFTER the document prints. After the printing completes, a second sheet of paper starts to feed in and I get the error message. I have also tested this independent of the PC and driver software by testing a two sided copy directly on the printer. The same result occurs, the two sided copy completes, then a second sheet of paper begins to feed and I get the same error message.
I changed my old image transfer belt unit to a new image transfer belt unit. But the image transfer belt unit counter value did not change and remaining life is ending. How to reset the image transfer belt unit counter? Or do I need to move something more from the unused printer.
Severity:
Warning
Status Code:
C5-1120
Description:
C5-1120 The machine has determined that the image transfer belt unit has reached its end-of-life cycle.
Printer not recognizing new color ink cartridge.

Thanks ShlomiL, we do already have IPv6 disabled. Still no change. I have to mention that I plugged a canon multifunction that we just purchased into the same port as the HP, assigned it the IP address the HP was using, and let it go into sleep mode. Checking it this morning by sending a print job to it, it woke up and printed. Same network, same cable, same IP address, same print server, different brand and model printer. No crazy futzing around in settings to get it to work.

Printer started displaying error message " Printer error, please turn printer off/on". I have turned the printer off and back on several times, I have also unplugged the printer and waited several minutes before plugging it back in. this happens both connected to LAN and on WIFI. How can I fix this error?
HP Envy 6458 - I have carts that were purchased directly from HP that the printer does not seem to like. Can I turn off the protection capability on the printer or how can I make them work?

You need service software to reset the transfer belt. The transfer belt is not user user-replaceable part, but a service part, and needs to be replaced in the service center.

Hey @AbbyC224,
Thank you for your response.
Ugh, that’s just beyond frustrating — you’re doing all the right things, and still getting nowhere. 🥴 A printer that constantly thinks it’s out of paper and won’t print in color from a brand-new MacBook Air is not just annoying — it’s completely unacceptable. Let’s try to dig a little deeper and get you some practical steps that might actually do something this time.
You’ve already cleaned the sensor and confirmed no jams. If the firmware installer is crashing, that could mean it’s not playing nice with macOS Monterey or M2. Let’s try another route that’s been effective for others:
Restart the Printer
Update Printer Firmware (Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support)
Refer to this guide: HP ENVY Inspire 7200e, 7900e Printers - Color or black ink not printing, other print quality issues | HP® Support
