I understand you are facing an issue with your HP LaserJet Pro M102w printer is only printing the HP logo and not the actual content you're trying to print, such as weights from the Inbody570. This issue could be related to several factors:

 

  • Driver or Software Issue: Ensure that you have the latest printer driver installed. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause printing issues. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website specifically for your printer model.
  • Printer Settings: Check the printer settings to ensure that they are configured correctly. Make sure the paper size, type, and other settings match what you're trying to print. Also, verify that the print quality settings are appropriate for the content.
  • Print Queue and Jobs: Check the print queue on your computer to ensure that there are no pending or stuck print jobs. Clearing the print queue and restarting the printer and computer can sometimes resolve issues.
  • Connection Issues: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your computer or network. If you're using a wireless connection, verify that the printer is connected to the correct network and that there are no connectivity issues.

Printer only printing every other line.  Have tried extended hard reset, new printer cartridges, different paper weight, different PDF converter - there is no paper jam.  What is next - I have things I have to print and sign, return.

Thanks for the suggestions @BeemerBiker

 

The first video showed me how to get to the hidden support menu and suggested doing three semi-full resets which I've tried without success.

 

There is apparently a risky full reset procedure that involves removing the battery, but I can't find instructions on how to do this.

 

The second video suggests using the "Trade at OOBE" system configuration setting to enable trade supplies. I went ahead and did this then restarted the printer for good measure, but this did not resolve the problem.

 

I am actually using third party cartridges but I don't think this is the cause of the problem since the printer works for test pages. I'd hesitate to buy new HP cartridges unless there was good evidence that the third party cartridges caused this problem. 

 

Is it possible that this problem is caused by a hardware failure?

Have trying all suggested list for this issue and the printer still presents the same error. Also, got a new printhead and still the error. So, it doesn't seem to be even a issue with the printhead. Any suggestion?

Okay I will take that as a yes. Thanks for the scam artist nonsense but no thanks. EVERYONE GET A BROTHER PRINTER. You don't have to pay just to use a printer you bought and paid for.

 

I hope this business crumbles under the weight of its greed.
