I see that you are facing an issue with your printer that has an error cannot print.

A) Please follow the steps below to perform a power drain.

 

1) Take out the cartridges

2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.

3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.

5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

Remove the cartridges > Unplug the power cord > Wait for 30 seconds > Plug the power cord back in > Insert the cartridges

 

B) Kindly refer to the steps on this link to update the printer firmware and let me know if that resolves the issue.

 

C) If the issue still persists, refer to the steps under "How do I fix cartridge errors associated with printer enrolment?" from this link as per the printer enrolment status and let me know if that fixes the issue.

Hp all in one 7520 printer question?!

Open until about two weeks Ago my HP all in one 7520 printer was working fine. I tried using it today and it saying that the printhead is missing. I’ve tried every possible thing I could think of and that I looked up and it’s just not Resetting. The only difference from a couple weeks ago is the ink has been changed, which isn’t genuine HP cartridges. Could that be the issue? Or is there something else you suggest?  I just wanted to get somebody’s input before I go and spend the money because that is not cheap. I know it’s old but like I said it was printing perfectly no issues a couple weeks ago so I don’t wanna go and buy a new one if I don’t have to.

I bought a HP black cartridge 65 which is what I always use.  I installed it this evening and i keep getting the error:  cannot use setup cartridge.  This is not a setup cartridge.  It is the EXACT same cartridge I just took out of the printer.

I can’t just print and it comes out I always have to hit the print page arrow how do I turn it off for it to just print on it’s on without the button

In some ways I understand HP's stance. 3rd party inks are not identical in formulation to OEM and the minute a customer has a print quality issue, most customers are going to blame HP, quickly forgetting that buying cheap ink might have caused the failure. You state that right in your post that your IT company told you that the print head was clogged because of 3rd party ink. I guess in a Utopia, all ink would be the same just like gasoline pretty much is. The problem is that print systems can be very different and the ink they use can be different. Epson uses a different print head design than HP does and so the inks are formulated differently.

Dark colors smear

I printed several sheets of transfer paper for t shirts with no problem. Then the printer would print most of the sheet correctly then it looked like the dark colors were smearing but had another color under it. I have done several head cleanings, smear cleaning in the app but it is still doing the same thing. Help please

Hi Repairatrooper,

thank you for the information you emailed me. It broadened my knowledge base. I definitely

understand more of this issues.

But I still think HP should leave it up to the consumer to use what they want.

And bear the consequences like me with clogged printer heads.

I have an HP 2529. Working ok this morning; after 4 pages printed, it prompted "The following print cartridges are not intended for use in this printer as it is currently configured: Black. Refer to printer documentation." Please note it was working properly. Went out and bought another brand new original HP Black Cartridge and prompts the same. Any advice?

Hello,

I keep getting the paper sensor error message and then when I go to the update software on the printer it says I am not connected to the network, But I am connected to the network because it shows the MAC address and network name that it is connected to.

HP M110we laser jet won’t print.  Orange exclamation flashes.  Completed printer factory reset, ONT and router reset but still no print.  Has new cartridge fitted. Power is on, paper is loaded.  Is it possible to speak to a human at HP ?

Print head alignment failed. New cartridges installed. No change. Black cartridge leaked. Trying to clean up the inside. Quite a mess. I'm using rubbing alcohol but am worried about getting the machine back together after the clean up. Looking for diagrams but I don't want to unplug all the ribbon cables. Any suggestions? I'm in Japan and this thing is not going to get fixed if I don't fix it myself. Thanks, -JJM

Your suggestion is BS. HP is holding my computer hostage. I don’t want InstantInk. I just want to copy other pages and it won’t let me. Do not buy HP products. That is my advice
