Hey Simon,

How do you have this printer connected to the PC you are printing from?  I am guessing Wireless?

What is the Operating System of this/these computer(s)?

Have you tried power cycling the entire network setup if the printer is connected across the network?

Follow these steps to reset your HP printer, your wireless router, and your computer.

  1. Press the Power button on the HP printer to turn it off.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the HP printer.
  3. Disconnect the power cord from the wireless router.
  4. Turn off the computer.
  5. Wait 30 seconds.
  6. Reconnect the power cord to the wireless router.
  7. Wait 30 seconds, or until the router is fully on and ready.
  8. Turn the computer back on.
  9. Wait for the computer to reload.
  10. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the HP printer.
  11. Turn the printer back on.

As well, have you tried running the HP Print and Scan Doctor to see if anything can be detected as an issue with the Automatic Troubleshooter?

HP Print and Scan Doctor

It sounds like the issue is the network connection either becoming too clogged or dropping mid-print.  If the power cycling steps do not work, then the next step I would advise is to re-establish the network connection of the printer.  Let me know the results and I can provide these next steps.

Hope this helps,

Jason
