Thanks for the help, it truly is appreciated. However.... I first checked all settings in Word- auto was selected as was proper envelope size. Then I tried to print on a legal sheet of paper- page size correct in Word, and set to automatic- but it only printed 8-1/2 x 11's worth, alerted a jam and ran a cleaing. I needed to go in to the settings on the printer and set it to Legal so it would print the whole page. So I tried to reset the factory defaults on the printer, reset my wirelss and tried the envelope again. No change. I then, as you suggested, downloaded the firmware update. No change. I tried setting it up in Word as plain paper, and not as an envelope, no change, printer still asked for a #10 envelope after each printing. I checked the website for "accepted and unaccepted envelopes and paper" but it said nothing about the size or style I was using- just a basic Ampad 3-5/8 x 6-1/2 privacy tinted, white envelope, nothing with a clasp, self-stick, or odd seams. So I resorted to uninstalling the driver from my PC, and reinstalled- it took 3 tries but I finally got it....Yet, after all that and 5 hours later, there is still no change. Even tho the paper size is correct in word, printer properties are set to automatic, and I have a basic envelope, the printer will still not recognize the size. After each print it runs a clean, and asks for a #10 envelope. I have not tried any paper of letter or legal size, I've had enough for one day....Thanks again, for your efforts...I am still open for suggestions, if you have some.
