Please perform the below steps that should resolve the issue .
- While the printer is ON, remove the ink cartridges and close the door.
- Unplug the Power Cord from and any other cables connected from back of the printer.
- Also unplug the other end of Power Cord from Surge protector / power strip or Wall.
- Wait for 30 seconds.
- Plug in the power cord first to Wall Out ( not to surge protector / power strip ) .
- Wait for the printer to power on . If it does not power ON, then press the ON button to do so.
- Open the cartridge door and install the ink cartridges and then close the door.
If the issue still persists, then call HP Tech Support for further assistance.

If you are not in US , then log on to www.hp.com , at bottom-left corner there is a world map icon, click on it and then select the region you belong to, which would then provide support options for you for that region.
