The display on my Officejet 4500 keeps flashing the message "turn of then on".
I cannot turn it off and then on, I hold down the power button, it blanks out and then comes back on with the same message. I unplugged it, and then plugged it back in, same problem. I removed the ink cartridges and put them back in, still the same problem.
I searched the forum and several people seem to be having the same problem, but I have not seen adequate answers, or support when the inadequate answers don't help...
In other words, I've seen answers and responses, but when the answers don’t work there doesn't seem to be a follow-up.
