I see that when you start the Photosmart C3180, your getting an error. I would like to help you with that.

To help you, can you clarify what you mean by "color check"? Is there blinking lights on the printer?  Or is this message on the computer?

There is a document for a blinking light on the cartridge: Check Print Cartridge Light Blinking. You can try and follow the steps in this, to see if that is the issue.
