@Joel_P - Thank you for the kudos but I do have another suggestion. It is up to you if you want to try this. Allow me to go out on a whim here to explain why. You have a non-working printer. You might as well try this method while you are about to consider another purchase. Try the soak again. Just one more time and do something a little risky and let it sit over-night. I understand the logistics of why not, I really do, as to not to contradict any post I would reference. However, I have been in your shoes so why not have a printer while shopping for a new one? Do the printhead soak one more time and let it dry over a long period of time (all night long). Look at the printhead very closely afterwards. You will see metal lines and if it is for certain the printhead is clogged, you will know because you will see chunks of ink between the lines. All else fails, use rubbing alcohol. I'm not telling you, at this point, how to fix your printer long-term, I'm giving you advice on how I fixed my printer that is still working. I hope this helps you.
