Thank you for your suggestions. I've tried everything suggested with no success. The screen flickers then goes black, the printhead goes back and forth violently making loud noises, and the printer sends 1 sheet of paper halfway through then it jams. It is going back to Costco today. Now the decision is wether to get another one like it, get a different HP printer, or change to a different manufacturer. The last printer I had was a HP C7250. It had some wonky issues like sending a blank sheet through after every one it printed. In order for it to stop doing this, I had to uninstall and reinstall the printer. Then 2 weeks later, it would happen again. I just dealt with it because it did actually print. This printer does not print at all after 3 months of light use.
