Here's my update...

Try these steps:

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Unplug the printer from the power source while it is still on.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds before reconnecting.
  • Plug it back into the power outlet and turn it on. This might reset any temporary connectivity issues.

Done several times, it stays up for a few minutes and then Blue screen of death again.

Firmware Update:

  • If you can access the printer settings even briefly, attempt to update the firmware.
  • You might need to do this through the HP Smart app or HP Support Assistant if the printer display remains inaccessible.

Done, it stays up for a few minutes and then Blue screen of death again.

Check for Mechanical Issues:

  • Physically inspect the printer for any jammed paper or obstructions that could cause a malfunction.
  • Ensure all covers and cartridge doors are properly closed.

Done several times, it stays up for a few minutes and then Blue screen of death again.

Factory Reset:

  • If you can navigate to the menu, attempt to perform a factory reset. Instructions for this are usually found in the printer manual.

The manual does not contain a Factory Reset, would like to have one to try.

Bottom line, I have tried it all several times and still the same results 😞
