@3in-onejetspeed, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

A blinking blue Wi-Fi light on your HP DeskJet 4152 usually means the printer is not connected to a Wi-Fi network and is in Wi-Fi setup mode or trying to connect.Since this started after you installed new ink, it’s likely a coincidence— but the printer might have restarted and lost its network settings. Let’s get you reconnected:

Restart Everything

  • Turn off the printer, router, and computer or mobile device.
  • Wait 30 seconds, then turn them back on — router first, then printer, then device.

Re-connect Printer to Wi-Fi

There are two ways to do this, depending on your preference:

Option A: HP Smart App (Recommended)

  1. Download HP Smart from the Microsoft Store or for mobile.
  2. Open HP Smart → Click “Set up a new printer.”
  3. The app will search for printers in setup mode (blinking blue light).
  4. Follow on-screen steps to connect it to your Wi-Fi network.

Option B: Manual WPS (if router supports WPS)

  1. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button🔵 on the printer until it starts blinking rapidly.
  2. Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router.
  3. Wait — the blinking blue light should turn solid when connected.

Double-check Ink Cartridges

Sometimes new cartridges can prompt an alignment page or cause temporary resets:

  • Make sure the cartridges are seated correctly.
  • If an alignment page prints, follow the instructions to complete the process.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
