To clear a paper jam in your HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e, follow these steps carefully:
Turn off the printer:
- Press the power button to turn off the printer.
- Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
Open the front door:
- With the printer turned off, carefully open the front door to access the paper path.
Remove the paper path cover:
- If there is a blue paper path cover blocking your access to the jammed paper, gently pull it away from the printer. You may need to wiggle it slightly to detach it.
Check for Jammed Paper
Remove any jammed paper:
- Carefully pull any jammed paper out of the printer. Remove any torn paper pieces left inside to prevent further jams.
Close the front door and reconnect the power cord:
- Once the jammed paper is removed, close the front door.
- Connect the power cord back to the rear of the printer.
Turn the printer on:
- Press the power button to turn on the printer.
Check the Printer’s Paper Path
Open the rear access area:
- Look for the rear access door at the back of the printer.
- Open this door to check for any paper paths obstructed by jammed paper.
Remove any jammed paper from the rear access:
- Gently pull out any paper that you find. Ensure there are no torn pieces left inside.
Final Steps
- Reset the printer:
- Once you have cleared all jammed paper, close all the doors.
- Turn on the printer to see if the issue has been resolved.
