When experiencing an error code such as 0XB8C8D536 on your HP OfficeJet 5258 printer, follow these steps to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
Reset the Printer:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the power source.
- Wait 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and then to the printer.
- Press the power button to turn on the printer.
Turn off IPv6:
- From the home screen on the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup.
- Touch Network Setup, and then touch Advanced Settings.
- Turn off IPv6, and then touch Yes to confirm.
