@Bailey87, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your Office Jet Pro 8035 "Printhead Error"!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Unfortunately, the HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 printer does not have user-removable printheads, and if the automatic printhead cleaning process is not working, you may need to perform a few steps to troubleshoot the issue:
Restart the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in.
- Turn on the printer and check if the printhead error persists.
Check Ink Cartridge Installation:
- Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed by opening the cartridge access door.
- Remove and reinsert each cartridge, making sure that each is securely seated.
- Close the cartridge access door and see if the error persists.
Reset the Printer:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and see if the error is resolved.
Check for Firmware Updates:
- Ensure your printer’s firmware is up to date. Go to the HP Customer Support page, enter your printer model, and follow the instructions to update the firmware if a newer version is available.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
