Hi @123NL
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
It sounds like your HP LaserJet M209dwe Printer is facing a persistent issue with the print queue.
Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:
1. Clear the Print Queue
- Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on your printer and select See what's printing.
- Cancel all pending print jobs by selecting them and clicking Cancel.
2. Restart the Print Spooler Service
- Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Locate Print Spooler in the list, right-click it, and select Restart.
- If the service is not running, right-click and select Start.
3. Check for Paper Jams or Low Toner
- Inspect the printer for any paper jams or obstructions.
- Ensure the toner cartridge is properly installed and has sufficient toner.
4. Update Printer Drivers
- Visit the HP Support website to download and install the latest drivers for your printer. Outdated drivers can cause communication issues.
5. Reset the Printer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
6. Perform a Factory Reset
- Press and hold the Cancel (X) button and the Wi-Fi button simultaneously for 10–15 seconds. This will reset the printer to its default settings.
7. Test with Another Device
- Try printing from a different computer or smartphone to determine if the issue is specific to your current device.
