Restart Everything
- Power off the printer, your laptop, and your router.
- Wait for a minute, then turn them back on, starting with the router, then the printer, then your laptop.
Check Default Printer Setting
- Open Control Panel→ Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your HP Neverstop Laser MFP 1202w and set it as Default Printer.
Clear Print Queue
- Open Run (Win + R), type services.msc, and hit Enter.
- Scroll down to Print Spooler, right-click it, and select Stop.
- Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and delete any files inside.
- Go back to Services, right-click Print Spooler, and select Start.
Reinstall the Printer
- Go to Control Panel→ Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your HP Neverstop printer and Remove Device.
- Download and install the full driver from the HP Support website.
- Follow the setup process to reconnect your printer.
Check Port and Driver
- Open Control Panel→ Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your printer, go to Printer Properties→ Ports.
- Ensure the correct port is selected (usually WSD for a network printer).
- Under Advanced, ensure the driver selected is the correct HP Neverstop Laser MFP 1202w driver.
Try Printing Using a Different Method
- Open Notepad, type some text, and try printing from there.
- Try using HP Print and Scan Doctor (download here) to diagnose and fix issues.
