I have exactly the same issue as the poster of this question at this link.
I followed all of the "Approved Solution" steps in the post linked above through the "Reset the Printer to Factory Settings" steps, but still receive the error screen and I can go no further. I cannot do any sort of firmware update (the last recommended step) since the printer is "stuck" on the error screen and never completes the printhead calibration. I did carefully check the printhead (no damage), wipe it with a lint free cloth, and replaced it, but the error condition still persists. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
I am using Mac OS Sierra 15.3.1 (that wasn't a OS option above). Thanks!
