Try these steps:
Make sure you're using an original HP 952/952XL cartridge or the correct regional one, especially if you've recently moved to a different country.
Turn off the printer, unplug it for a minute, and remove the cartridges. Gently clean the cartridge chip with a dry lint-free cloth, then reinsert the cartridges and turn the printer back on.
Update the printer firmware by going to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Update the Printer on the control panel. Install any available updates and restart the printer.
Unplug the power cord while the printer is on, wait a minute, and plug it back in. Turn on the printer and check if the error is gone.
If possible, try another HP genuine cartridge to see if the issue is with the ink.
