I understand you have an Officejet J5780 that is having some hardware issues in relation to a paper jam. I'm sorry to hear this, but I'm happy to try and help resolve this issue.
I will suggest that you start with having a browse through this Paper Jam document to make sure you've covered all the steps it has to offer. I would also recommend that you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet to make sure it has all the power it needs.
