Hi @OldLady2853,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP ENVY 6455e printing two copies instead of one, you can check the following settings:

1. Check Print Settings (Windows)

  • Step 1: Open the document or file you want to print.
  • Step 2: Press Ctrl + P or select File > Print to open the print dialog.
  • Step 3: In the print dialog, look for a setting called Copies. Ensure it is set to 1.
  • Step 4: Click on Printer Properties or Preferences.
  • Step 5: Ensure that the default setting for the number of copies is also set to 1.
  • Step 6: Click OK and then try printing the document again.

2. Check Printer Settings in Control Panel (Windows)

  • Step 1: Open Control Panel on your PC.
  • Step 2: Go to Devices and Printers.
  • Step 3: Right-click your HP ENVY 6455e and select Printer Properties.
  • Step 4: Under the Advanced tab, click Printing Defaults.
  • Step 5: Ensure that the number of copies is set to 1.

3. Check HP Smart App Settings

  • Step 1: Open the HP Smart app.
  • Step 2: Go to Print Settings.
  • Step 3: Ensure that the default number of copies is set to 1.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
