I just purchased a HP 7500A E910 Wide Format printer. I am running Windows Home 7 Premium 64-bit OS SP 1. The printer is installed as a network printer and I am connecting to it wirelessly as I have in the past with my previous HP 6510 which printed flawlessly until the print head failed and the replacement failed a week later.
But, I’ll go back to my issue. The printer has no problems printing huge spreadsheets, PDF files, photos, etc. The problem is in printing handouts from within PowerPoint 2007. I print these handouts once weekly with a “handout” format printing 3 slides to each page. When printing these handouts, the printer will pause for 6-7 seconds at the end of each page. I have tried printing directly to the printer, spooling the job first, etc. I have changed every setting I can think to change within the “Advanced” tab under the “printing preferences” tab.
Since this is the biggest bulk of my printing/page count, it has been frustrating. I have Goggled this issues finding few posts and no solutions.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
