For issues that are the same for the document feeder and the flatbed glass cleaning the glass will likely not help. For this case I have heard reports that resetting the printer has resolved the issue. Some users reported they needed to leave the printer disconnected for several minutes rather then the fifteen seconds recommended in Solution Two of the document here.
