I understand the printer won't print by USB or networked.

Try and print a hardware test to find out if it is a hardware or software issue.
On the printer go to Setup»Tools»Self-Test Report.
I would download and run the Print and Scan Doctor since it might resolve the issue automatically. Click Here.

What were the results of the Print and Scan Doctor?
Any exclaimation marks?
Did it print the test page?
