Do you have 3rd party cartridges installed or original HP Ink Cartridges?
When my Officejet Pro 8620 updated to the latest HP Firmware and I installed one new 3rd party Cartridge it almost disabled permanently my printer with the fatal HP error " There is a problem with the Printer or Inkjet System".
It took me several hours of using different procedures to eliminate that fatal HP error.
If the error doesn't go away then possibly you have a defective Printer or contact HP Support.
