I bought this printer years ago and have been successful in using it with windows 7. I recently got a new computer that uses Windows 8.1 and at first the printer cooperated with the new computer, it was able to print and scan documents with no problem.
Recently, this has not been true. I have had trouble printing and scanning documents. The printer drivers are installed on my computer but when I plug in the printer it does nto seem to be recognized by my computer. I try and test this by selecting "start new scan" and I am presented with an error box telling me to connect the printer when it is already connected.
Please help.
