Hi
The printer had a paper jam in the loading tray where it usually gets a jam now and then.
We pulled the whole paper out and checked for other paper stuck but the error message did not go away: (Remove rear access panel or auto 2sided printing from the back then clear any paper)
-I have followed all videos and advice from HP to clean the rollers, checked all areas including scan tray with a torch, the printer is free of paper.
-I have run hp doctor and updated the software
-I have tried all power reset recommendations
-The message does not go away when i click OK except for 2 seconds when i open the ink cover to see the menu on the screen.
-It would not reset to default settings or print test page or do anything else
-It does not respond to commands from the app
-Power button works OK - however it now says error improper shut down even when we use the power button
-The ink roller does make the usual noise when printer is rebooted
Have we perhaps broken a roller or a sensor when we pulled the paper out?
How can we reset this error please?
