I have been using an HP Officejet 7000 Wide Format printer as a plotter for AutoCAD LT 2002 for several years with no problems. Using the plotter configuration editor I created a dedicated printer configuration which quickly produced crisp looking Black Ink Only output (drawings).
Several months ago things began to go haywire --- when previously the configuration would follow the drawing orientation specified in the AutoCAD print window, now the only way to print a landscape oriented drawing is to go into the printer settings and select portrait! I have been putting up with this for a while, but now....
It will no longer print in Black Ink Only. My layouts are configured for borderless 8½ x 11 or 11 x 17 paper. However when I select borderless paper the only selection available under "Print in Greyscale" is High Quality, the Black Ink Only selection is no longer available. If I use this High Quality setting the print job is VERY slow (and uses quite a bit of ink). If I go to shortcuts/print quality and select fast draft, the print job is faster but the quality is very poor.
What can I do to get the printer properties to behave like they did before these issues started?
