HP Envy 5544 won't print in colour despite having brand new ink cartridges.

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help with this. My HP Envy 5544 won't print in colour, despite having brand new ink cartridges. I have tried everything suggested on previous posts (uninstalling and reinstalling the driver etc.) to no avail. I have spent a long time trying to sort this out so am hoping someone has a solution.

HP 7740 All in One - Says 'Printing' but cant get it to print

I have uninstalled, reinstalled, unplugged.....tried everything. When I print to the printer either from desktop or wirelessly it says 'Printing' on the printer's screen but sits there and does nothing. If I try to copy something....it says Copying 1/1 and sits there. Not sure what to do.

Print Error Message with Officejet Pro and Win 10

I currently have two laptops and two desktops running Win 10 in my home.  They are all networked via wi-fi with an Officejet Pro 6970.  The two laptops and a Lenovo desktop work fine with the printer.  However, when I try to print from the Dell, the file is stuck in queue labeled "error"  I've gotten a message that my "printer is in error state".

1)   I've tried printing from mail accounts and from MS Word and Excel but the results are the same.  Hung up in queue labeled "error".

2)  The computer can link with the printer to determine status such as ink level but printing does not work,

3)  I've verified that the IP address is correct between printer and computer.  Both show that they are on the same wi-fi network.  It is checked as my "default printer".  

4)  I've tried updating the driver/firmware from HP and it says I'm "up to date"

5)  I've tried the good old "unplugging and rebooting" both printer and computer but that does not fix the issue with the Dell.  Other computers in network print fine.

 

I'm completely frustrated.  Unless someone has a suggestion, my only next step seems to be to uninstall and re-install the printer from the Dell.

I have repeatedly powered off and each time I switch the printer back on the same error code 6201922A appears on flashing blue scree. Found a solution posted for Macbook user but I'm Windows 10 PC user. What's the solution to the problem ?

Hi. When printing PDF files on both sides, top and bottom margins of odd pages are not consistent with those of even pages. Printing preview looks fine. Please see attachment. Thanks.1.jpg

Office Pro 6968 cartridge stuck

Error number ox6100004a

The cartridge is stuck on the right. There is no paper jam. I have followed all suggestions by turning the unit off an on, unplugging from the back and wall, turning the gears on the left by hand, trying to move the cartridge manually. It is no longer on warranty. What else can I do? It has always worked perfectly until this happened.

Hello,

I have a problem of double lettes when printing from my computer (try pdf, word, picture). I align, clean ink cartridge, change inks cartridge, update drivers. Nothing work. It only work when i print in black only.

I give you some picture. First one is pdf print (double letter), second one is a test page print form computer (problem), and third one is a diagnostic print from the printer (no problem)

US HP Photosmart 5520 does not recognize HP 364 cartridges. The original US set - ref (564) - is unavailable in the UK.

Is there a way to make the printer work with the 364 cartridges available in the UK?

Error 55.0602 and 55.o1 error

I'm receiving error 55.01 and 55:0602 messages and have performed all necessary tasks, ie, unplugging, reseting, etc. Research indicates the engine controller PCA unit may need replacing. I have rarely used this printer since purchasing back in 2017. Where is this part located inside the printer. Where can I purchase the part if needed.

I am continually getting error 6201922A.  I have followed the recommended procedure three times -- unplugging for 60 seconds and plugging back in.  This does not resolve the error.

Are you getting any error messages?

 

Meanwhile:- 

Following is a list of possible causes for a blinking Power light:

  • The product is preparing a print job. The Power light blinks while the product receives the data.

  • The front access door is open.

Solution:-

Close the front access door.

Did you uninstall the printer driver from the level?

If not, follow these steps:-

Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer related software's.

  • In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
  • Select your HP printer.
  • Select Uninstall.
  • In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
  • In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
  • Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
  • Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
  • Click on Drivers tab.
  • Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
  • Select OK.
  • Remove all instances of the same.
  • Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
  • Close Devices and Printers. 
  • Restart the PC again.

I'm having the same issue with the same product.  Started in December.  It seems HP support can't find a solution.  The recommendation I got through their Messenger is to unplug the cord from the printer and from the wall and wait 15 secs and then plug it back in. Bunch of B/S.  Most be some techs in a 3rd world country typing in a bathroom.  Poor customer service.  I will not buy other HP product again.  As I type this I'm having Best Buy Geek Squad working on this issue.  Good luck.  Oh that other solution I saw someone posted about updating the Firmware and HP Smart.  Done it and it still didn't fix the issue

  • Are you getting any error message or code while setting up the printer?
  • Have you tried updating the printer firmware?

Original too long/short message

Printer appears to have had a stroke.  The front panel, when I am printing a multi page doc from my PC says "Original too long/short"?  When it prints, page one is correct but page 2 is upside down and often the top third is cut off, like the image has been "shifted" off center vertically.  Never seen this before!  Printer is virtually unusable

Does this issue occur only when the printer goes into sleep mode?
