Also, try to remove web services and then re-enable web services, most of the time it works.

Problems with alignment and print quality.

My printer was working fine until I changed the ink this morning. 

I printed off the alignment page, but there seems to be some white lines in the page like there are sections of text and image missing. 
It told me the alignment failed, but then the screen flicked over and said the printer is set to default mode. Since then the print quality is terrible, with sections of text missing, and all the black coming out a hazy grey. 

 

I have tried realigning, it does the same thing. 

I have tried turning it off, and back on.

I have tried a hard reset.

I have tried printing a photocopy (same bad quality results) 

I have tried taking out the cartridges and putting them back in. 

I have tried cleaning the cartridges. 

 

Any advice on how to make it work again? 

 

Computer does not detect printer and says it's not connected but it is.

Hello my Mac computer is not detecting my HP8715 all in one printer yet the printer shows it is fully connected to the new wifi router that was just installed.

Printhead issue HP Officejet Pro 8610

I have an HP Officejet Pro 8610 that is giving me the error code "Missing or Failed Printhead; The printhead appears to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed."

 

I have gone through all steps made available to me by the HP virtual assistant (other than allowing me to talk to a living human, which is not an option for some reason). The printer has been updated via wireless, but my computer can't update the firmware. I have tried all of the voodoo steps proffered on the internet (unplug three times/chant "Biden 2020" while pressing ESC/etc.). No luck. I also have the same issue with the printer I have at work (same model but different computer/printer). The printers worked fine up until the approximate date of the warranty then gave me this error message. 

 

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Especially if it comes from an HP employee who can help.

I believe I found an issue. I believe it is due to the recent firmware update to my printer which is making my printer not print. I will see if there's a way to downgrade the firmware.

Check for obstructions in the carriage path

  • With the printer on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

  • If your printer has a battery, remove the battery.

  • Open the door to access the carriage inside of the printer.

    Examples of carriage access doors

    Opening an access door on top of the printerOpening an access door on the front of the printer

  • Look in the carriage path for debris such as crumpled paper or dislodged labels, and then remove any that you find.

  • If the carriage on your printer has a latch, make sure it is closed.

  • Use your hand to move the carriage to each side, making sure it moves freely. If the carriage is stalled or docked to one side of the printer and you cannot move it, continue with these steps.

  • Close the carriage access door.

  • Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer, and then turn the printer on.

I request you to talk to HP support, so that they can ship you the missing parts.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

Hello I am trying to use my hp 3830 and of coarse I don’t remember the wireless password. I have had this printer a while and this never needed to be addressed. I just have a paper to print from works I have no computer I use my phone with print hand can you help me

Printheads

Hi  HP Community.

 

I am having  problems with the printheads in my all in one. I  received  the error messages that the printheads are  missing, or installed incorrectly.   I reinstalled, cleaned the printhead but I  continue to receive the error message. Any advice out there  on how to correct this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Restore Network Settings to reset EWS page.

  • From the home screen of your printer control panel, touch the Wireless icon . Touch the Setup icon . Touch Restore Network Defaults or Restore Network Settings, and then touch Yes to confirm your selection.

I have been having problems since July and it seems that there is a driver update issue with this printer.
