Hey there! , Welcome to HP forums.

I understand you would like to know if you can print labels from your printer.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Did you make any changes to your printer?

Have you tried checking with a different brand paper?

I have checked the specifications of your printer and please find the supported label sizes on your printer.

Supported labels

To avoid paper jams and other issues, make sure that you are using the correct size and type of label sheets when loading the input tray.

A4-sized sheets

210 x 297 mm (8.3 x 11.7 inches)

Letter-sized sheets

216 x 279 mm (8.5 x 11.0 inches)

Refer the printer specifications page to know more information.

If the solution provided worked for you, please mark accepted solution for this post.

Greetings ,

Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are facing an issue with your printer reinstallation, is that right?

Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.

Are you able to make a copy on the printer? (This would let us know that the printer is working fine.)

How is the printer connected to your computer? USB or wireless.

Recommend you download and install the Windows uninstaller from this link.

Use the uninstaller to remove the printer software on your computer.

Check in device manager, if the printer is listed there, please delete it. (Right-click on the Windows button to access device manager)

Go to devices and printers, select any printer listed there and you will get some options on the top.

Click on print server properties.

You will get a popup, click on the drivers tab and delete all the HP printer drivers listed there, if any.

Delete all the instances of your printer listed in devices and printers.

Restart the PC.

Once the PC is on the desktop, press Win + R, it would bring a Run dialog box,

Type %temp% in the run box and click Ok or hit the Enter button.

It would bring up the temporary files folder. Delete the files in the folder (You might not be able to delete all the files, ignore them).

If possible, delete the printer from the registries using Regedit or using any other 3rd party application.

Restart the PC again.

Download the latest full feature driver from www.hp.com/drivers and install it on the computer.

Power On/Connect the printer to your computer only when the setup prompts for the printer.

Let me know if this helped.

Re: ink cartridges reward?

if this reward program has ended in july then why are you still advertising a reward that no longer exists? it doesnt look like a new problem either when i looked up the problem on google i saw alot of people complaining about exactly the same thing, 1 i noticed was as far back as 2011! i have been a loyal hp customer for nearly 10 years now - i saved up for months and bought a hp laptop at age 16 since then i have spent alot of money with this company - i run a small business and all of the computer equipment and printers are hp. I have wasted ALOT of time trying to resolve this rewards problem. time is money , time is valuable when running a small business just to be told that in fact there is no reward! why couldnt hp make it clear on the website that the 'claim my reward' button directs me to that the reward program has finished? why does a company as big as hp make it extremely difficult to be contacted? i have wasted alot of time trying to contact yourselves to get a response about this reward, i've wasted  alot of valuable time. Maybe i should of known better but i thought hp were going to give me some kind of reward for being as loyal a customer as i have been for the last 10 years. I am very unimpressed with how i feel i have been treated by hp and how you treat a loyal customer - or how you treat any customer in fact. The amount of money i have spent with hp over the last ten years and the amount of time i have wasted to get a sensible answer from yourselves, constantly being told to contact another department with my querie then that department says the same thing! I am really not happy about this i feel HP should give me some kind of reward to be honest a kind of good will gesture for the fact that i have wasted alot of time going around in circles trying to resolve this issue all for nothing! and the fact that i have been a good customer of yours for the last 10 years. I cant stress enough how disillusioned i have become with hp in these last couple of days, to the point that at the end of this month i am looking to purchase 2 new pc's for the offfice as part of an upgrade - this is a big expense for a small business like mine and im seriously considering using one of your rival companies instead now. a shame because i have never before had any problem with hp. However if you were to offer some kind of small reward and show me that you actually care about your customers i have no problem staying with hp and purchasing laptops and printers from you for the office upgrade. Customer service is very important when running a business if you dont treat your customers right then you will lose customers. Let me claim a reward you have been advertising and you will not lose this customer. If not i really dont have any problem spending my money elsewhere.

Thanks, ben

Greetings

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are unable to access the service menu on your printer, is that right?

Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.

Are you facing any print quality issues with the printer?

Have you set up any security on the printer?

If the printer is set up over wireless, capture the IP address of the printer and enter it in a browser on your computer.

This would bring up the EWS page of the printer, you can use the EWS page to perform a cleaning on your printer.

Refer to this HP Article to resolve a print quality issue with the printer.

Keep me posted.

Hi,

The printer language is set wrongly, similar as described below:

https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05548922

Follow these steps to change the language through the EWS page as instructed for a wireless connection.

For USB reinstall the HP software and select the correct langage as instructed or change the printer language via HP Smart (Under Start > Apps > HP)

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP Officejet 276dw Printer. I understand that you are getting paper jam issue and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.

Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well.

Reset the printer.

  1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

  4. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

  5. Wait at least 60 seconds.

  6. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

       NOTE:

HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.

  7. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

  8. Turn on the printer.

Print a Printer Status Report.

  1. Load U.S. Letter or A4 size, unused, plain white paper into the input tray.

  2. On the control panel, touch the Right Arrow ().

  3. Touch Setup ().

  4. Touch the Down Arrow () to scroll to Reports.

  5. Touch Reports, and then touch Printer Status Report. The Printer Status Report prints.

Clear any jammed paper from the rear of the printer.

Clear any jammed paper from the paper trays.

Check the carriage path with a flashlight.

Clean the rollers.

Clean the rollers in the duplexer.

Click here and refer the document to perform the above steps.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers.

Hi! , Welcome to HP forums.

I understand you have issues printing in black from your printer.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Did you make any changes to your printer?

Have you tried checking with a different ink cartridge?

Does the issue persist when you make a copy from your printer?

Have you installed full feature printer software?

Please provide the operating system you are running on your PC to assist you better.

Have you tried printing from a different application?

Replace any low or empty ink cartridges

1.Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.

2.Open the ink cartridge access door.

The carriage moves to the access area.

3.Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

4.Press the tab on the front of the ink cartridge inward to release it, and then pull up on the ink cartridge to remove it from the slot.
Never turn off the printer when ink cartridges are missing. Make sure you replace any missing ink cartridges as soon as possible to avoid print quality issues and possible extra ink usage or damage to the ink system.

Do not lift the latch to the side of the carriage to remove the ink cartridge. Doing so might result in incorrectly seated ink cartridges.

5.Repeat the previous step until you have removed all of the ink cartridges from the printer.

6. Remove an ink cartridge from its package, and then pull the orange pull-tab straight back.

   caution:

Make sure you remove the orange pull-tab and plastic wrap completely before you remove the orange cap in the next step. Otherwise, ink might leak from the ink cartridge. When you remove the plastic wrap, the paper label on the top of the ink cartridge tears slightly, which is necessary to properly vent the cartridge.

7.Twist the orange cap counter-clockwise until it snaps off the new ink cartridge.

8.With the nozzle and contacts facing down, slide the ink cartridge into its slot. Press down on the cartridge until it snaps into place.

Do not lift the carriage latch handle to install the ink cartridges. Doing so can result in incorrectly seated ink cartridges and printing problems. The latch must remain down to install the ink cartridges correctly. Make sure the colored icon on the ink cartridge matches the colored icon on the slot.

9.If the ink cartridge does not snap into place, remove the ink cartridge from the carriage. Gently bend the tab away from the ink cartridge, and then reinsert the ink cartridge into the carriage.

Be careful not to bend the tab out more than 1.27 cm (0.5 in). Moving the tab too far might damage the ink cartridge or cause the tab to break off.

10.Repeat the previous steps until you have inserted all of the new ink cartridges into the printer.

11.Close the ink cartridge access door.

Every time I try and print, the computer says there is no ink/toner and won't print. I only have the colour cartridge inserted, but it should still print in single cartridge mode. Have tried the 'HP print and scan doctor' and it worked after that but only once.

Can anyone give me any ideas of what to do?

Thanks!

Your system doesn't work. I'm not being chrged for the ink but being charged for using too much paper? That's not appropriate. You should be encourging me to print more. Unless you can come up with a better answer I'm going to look for aprinter manufacturer that doesn't penalize me to use your product.

Sandy this is not a solution.

When are HP going to fix the driver. It is a complete joke and I will not buy HP again.

Previous to your email I searched out similiar advice from one of your colleagues.

That fixed it but just for a day. Presumably becuase the "correct" driver which I'd installed manually was once again updated by the faulty driver which it appears to be still in the field and which you still have not fixed.

And I'm paying you monthly for ink? I'm stopping that straight away.

Totally amateurish effort from HP

I appreciate your efforts to help me Sandy but this is completely unacceptable from HP.

Brand new HP Envy 4520 printing pictures with yellow cast

$

I purchased a brand new HP Envy 4520 last week.  I am trying to print some photos for a school project for my son.  Everything has a yellow cast to it.  I have tried troubleshooting, including the HP page for print quality problems and nothing is working.  I expected more from this printer!  Is there a way to fix this or is this model of printer just bad with printing pictures?  I'm using photo paper too by the way.

If there is another all in one printer that does a better job with photos, please let me know and I will return this one and purchase that one!  I need a printer I can depend on and right now, I'm seriously disappointed in this HP product.
